Joey’s Hostel in Laxmi Nagar isn’t just a place to crash—it’s a full-on vibe! With its colorful walls, artistic corners, and chill common areas, it’s the perfect stay for backpackers, artists, and creators looking for more than just a bed. What truly sets this hostel apart is its top-class community management. The energy here is vibrant, welcoming, and always buzzing with good conversations, music, and spontaneous plans. Shoutout to the team—Suhail and Himanshu are super helpful and always around when you need them. And yeah, Roopal… she might be a little rude sometimes (just keeping it real), but gotta admit—her art game is fire. Now, coming to the soul behind it all—Arjun Bhaiya. What a vibe! ❌️⭕️🙏 This man runs the place with passion, grace, and that big brother energy everyone needs while away from home. Respect to him for creating such a beautiful, creative space for travelers and free spirits. If you’re ever in Delhi, don’t even think twice—Joey’s Hostel, Laxmi Nagar is where the good times begin. 5 stars. Full feels. Will visit again.
Let's not talk about it🙈😂

We stayed in a double private room. The room is spacious for 2 people, the en-suite bathroom is modern, with hot and cold water, all toiletries (including toilet paper upon request) were provided and the AC unit was powerful and silent. The location is not exactly in the main tourist area BUT they are 5 min walk to the metro and from there you can go anywhere in the city. We didn’t join but they also provide tours to the main attractions of old Delhi for a good price.
They entrance looks almost like the building is been abandoned for years, with garbage outside and the name of the Hotel is almost completely washed away by time and the Sun. The general aspect of the common areas is OK but it could be cleaner and needs some care. Also, even if our room was for two people, the room had only one towel, the second one together with the toilet paper were provided at no charge upon request, however it would be nice if the staff prepare the room accordingly for the number of guests before hand.

The staff is amazing, they organised free activities which made me feel right at home in India and gave me the opportunity to connect with other travelers and the staff. Especially Himanshu made the free activities really a highlight, as you can see he puts so much effort into it, he knows what he is doing and gives a local experience, which made me look forward to the daily activities. Also as we went places as Tibetan and Old Dehli, I could see more of Dehli then I would expect initially. Also the spontaneous movie nights at the roof top where amazing. Also the daily staff was so helpful, with laundry, where to go and leaving luggage, if possible. Ask and they will see what they can do, I was even in the lucky position that they made me rebook my room due to last minute changes, which was so amazing of them and they truly did not have to.

I felt like part of the family because of the staff, especially Nitin (manager), who was always willing to help and was very attentive. The staff was always very active, always maintaining interaction with everyone, whether it was with tours around the city (I highly recommend to ask for the tour in Old Delhi), parties that take place on the rooftop or simply with games at night and typical Indian dinners eating like a family. This place provided me with good experiences and I felt very comfortable. Everyone speaks English which makes communication much easier. The location is good, there is a metro station close to the hostel about 5 minutes walking. The place offers a typical Indian breakfast, in addition to selling cold drinks and snacks at the reception. The showers have hot water and they also offer laundry service. Thank you to all the stuff for enriching my experience in Delhi and for your attention, I recommend it to everyone who is in Delhi, you can come and you will not regret it. Siuuuuuuuuu!!!

Joey’s Hostel in Delhi is a great option which travellers choosing a comfortable, clean and homey atmosphere will definitely enjoy. I had travelled to the destination, and the staff, especially Kamal, Tony, Niklesh Thakur, Himanshu and Nithin who were exuberantly welcoming, never let me down. They are very attentive and willing to help each guest with all the queries and, as a result, they became extraordinary to me and my friends. The rooms are tidy and very clean, bright with fresh bedding and beautifully maintained bathrooms. The hostel is proud to be neat and tidy, and the housekeeping staff takes care of everything, which, in the end, gives a cozy place for relaxation, after a whole-day tour. The hostel is an excellent location. It is close to the metro rail station. This way it is super convenient to go about the city of Delhi. The metro is fast and cheap, allowing you to visit the main attractions of the city swiftly, from historical to the recent shopping areas. A high point is the lively street food scene right outside the hostel. The area is a safe place for the newcomers to taste some of Delhi’s famous street food such as chaat and parathas. The food is safe, and you will have fun being a part of the experience when you eat snacks from food vendors. The Joey's hostel staff members suggest eating at legit food stalls, so you will be safe to try Indian cuisines. The environment around Joey’s Hostel is fun and social, and it is the best place for meetings with other travellers. You might feel a little bit tired in the common areas, or else you could partake of some easily accessible activities. Giving others watches you, which is your opportunity to have many friends. To sum up, Joey’s Hostel is the complex of perfectly hygienic, excellently situated, welcoming staff, and a overshooting social environment. This is the best place for tourists to stay in Delhi, which provides them with comfort and real ambient. This is a hotel highly recommended!
There’s honestly very little to dislike about Joey’s Hostel. Everything from the cleanliness to the friendly staff and great location exceeded expectations. It truly offers a fantastic experience with no major drawbacks!

Great customer service, nice place to relax and connect with other travellers. My second stay here and it's always nice living here when i visit delhi. I appreciate that the staff takes time to connect with travellers. They all still remembered me from my first visit, this personal approach gives a nice homely feeling in a foreign country and city.
The location of hostel is a bit noisy as its close to a highway and bustling market. While it's nice that everything is accessible, the background noise from the street was a bit of culture shock for me. However, most places in delhi are like that. Another thing i disliked is their washroom taps and flushes are always leaking, too much wastage of water. I visited twice in 6 months and both times it was still a problem.

Joey's is an amazing value budget-friendly stay, where many of the staff go above and beyond to make your stay great, whether that's through the daily tours or the social events at the hostel - like rooftop movie nights and much more. A fantastic place to meet like-minded travelers and swap stories, plan your next journey or just chill out and forget the world. You can see from all the messages and art on the walls that the spirits of adventure and love are deep in the bones of this place. P.S Shout out to Himanshu, Nikhil and especially Abbey Jaana on the staff team for being legends and bringing the good vibes at all times.
If you don't like cold showers make sure you get up early!

The staff is quite friendly and makes the stay nice. They are doing city tours that can be quite helpful for people who just arrived to India and do not how to move around yet etc. The showers and toilets were quite nice. There is a small kitchen, free drinking water and other drinks for sell. Rooftop for hanging out with friends/new friends you just met there. Lot of street food around. Close access to metro/subway. The lockers(take your lock).
The place can get quite full when there are lot of people. I was confused who is actually working there and who is a guest with many people running around. People leave their luggage around the room(not the fault of the hostel). Receptionist could tell me that there is another floor with common room and rooftop so I would know that. I found out randomly. They can improve the sign on the street, it can be tricky to find it. There is security guy who will open the doors for you, but when he is not there/hiding from the sun, the sign is hard to see among the thousands of others signs on the busy street. Someone took my water bottles from the fridge, I believe that staff lol.

The staff is awesome and super friendly. Himanshu is a special person. He's a chill dude who loves to chat. Even though I didn't have any friends there, he made me feel like a brother. He takes great care of all the guests and makes sure everyone has a blast. Thanks again! This is my second visit to the hostel, and I was done with my work and didn't have any plans for Delhi. He encouraged me to explore Delhi, and I had an amazing time. It was unforgettable. Thanks again!
The restrooms need daily cleaning for at least six hours, including all floors and the lobby. Sofas also need cleaning. The rooms lack proper ventilation, causing stale air. Installing exhaust fans and heaters will improve air quality during both winter and summer.

The staff is really nice and there is a great social vibe. I met a lot of lovely people there. Big plus are the tours done by Nithin. His English is excellent and he is a super friendly and knowledgeable person! Beds are comfy and clean. I'd go again for the social aspect as it's easy to meet other travelers. If you're a girl I'd definitely go for the female dorm as it's less cramped.
The hostel is very run down and a bit smelly. There are social spaces inside but there are no windows so it can feel a bit off at one point. Also there are a lot of male staff in the social areas as well. They are all nice but that gave it a bit of a weird vibe sometimes. The worst for me were the parties on the rooftop until late in the morning. Not sure if that's every night but it was definitely there the two nights I was staying and felt more like parties for the locals that were staying and the staff.
