We enjoyed our stay in Orchha. Price was good for us. It is a budget hotel and guesthouse with double rooms and cheaper, shared rooms. We stayed on the top floor, staying in one of their more expensive rooms. Accommodation was ok, could be cleaner but ok. The room was airy, bright and spacious. Bed comfortable. Had a fridge, fan and air con with an extra charge. Shower was hot It was nice to have some shared space outside the room to eat. The owner and his wife were really nice and helpful. If you are thinking of staying here, it's worth contacting him about getting there from jhansi and any move on plan. I thought the food was good. Also the staff were nice. If you are not a budget travellor this is not for you.

The property has an amazing location which is perfectly within walking distance with Orccha's main sights. The staff was also excellent and even gave us the possibility to upgrade our room for a small fee. It was definitely a very cheap stay!

Space, cleanliness and the facilities were a bit lacking. For 3 people I recommend taking a bigger room than just one with a double and single bed. Also, as in many places, there seems to be a huge lack of places to place your belongings, especially in the bathroom. Finally, some surfaces could easily benefit from a wiping down.

The hotel is owned by a family and they are all so lovely and helpful! Very nice to deal with everyday, and showed us a room with a better room we could upgrade to for a smaller price. The place is tucked away in a quiet street but close to everything you need. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and the fan and AC work great. Nice view from the rooftop and the common area upstairs. You can also buy cold water downstairs. Loved our stay, great value for money! Highly recommend

Amazing value, staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was clean. We had a neighbor who started playing music pretty early in the morning, like 7:00am, but it was good Indian music and kinda added to the ambience, so we didn’t mind at all(you should be up for the sunrise anyways, which is amazing here). The staff helped us book transportation to our next stop and showed us around the temple. Also, if you’re going to eat somewhere definitely go to Open Sky restaurant

Can’t find a bad word to say about it

We were actually provided an apartment with big rooms and dining space with a separate sitting area. The owner and the service boys were very good. Arranged a short trip to the Orchha fort and the RamRaja Mandir and a brand new SUV was arranged by the owner for dropping us to our next destination Gwalior.

Only the location was a bit inside from the main road though the fort and temple was quite near..

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Sunset Orchha! The location was perfect, with easy access to all beautiful attractions to Orchha. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The amenities, especially added a luxurious touch. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic and comfortable experience. The most beautiful room is only available at upgrade requests.

An excellent value for money stay in Orchha. We took the upgrade offered by Owner. We had a room on the top floor which was lovely. Very comfy bed. Breakfast and meal options were very good. We arranged laundry which had a v quick turnaround. Owner also arranged our taxi to Khajuraho - which was exceptionally priced , we had the best local taxi driver. Great location too. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sunset in Orchha. The location is perfect at the small hill, offering stunning views The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in Orchha. Aniket also offers great ltinerary and knows Orchha by heart. He have small details about many more unknown hidden monuments of Orchha. The best view with comfy weds.

Overall a good value and experience. We'd stay here again!! We stayed several enjoyable nights at Hotel Sunset Orchha The location is great - just steps from the temple with a super view of the town, sunrise, & palace. Small stores, restaurants, transport, neat walking opportunities, attractions, tour guides are closeby. Aniket & his family are kind, helpful hosts. They accommodated our arrival change and late departure. We loved the breakfasts on the roof - and evening beer - all at a good price. Our room was sparsely furnished, but large and clean, comfy bed, hot water, ceiling fans, good wifi Overall a good value and experience. We'd stay here again.
