This is an heritage building, so the style was such that not much natural light entered the first room they gave us on the ground floor (We are senior citizens). But they immediately shifted us to a room upstairs, so we could open the curtains and let in the sun. The rooms were huge and airy, and the furniture very comfortable.

Room service was quite lacking. I asked for a plate and knife to cut some fruit, and it just never arrived. Similarly, the next night, after dinner, my husband ordered some dessert - and after waiting over an hour, finally went and brushed his teeth. And then they brought it. This could definitely improve.

Location is very good, it is real River Retreat. Food is also very good with fair price. Room is spacious and it will give you a Ethnic ancient kerala culture glimpses. 💫

Good place to stay. Spacious and well kept room. Staff too good and attends to guests needs immediately. Lot of greenery around and river abutting the property makes it scenic

Good size room, clean, heritage

1 AC did not work throughout the stay and the staff did nothing about it. Weather was not too bad but the attitude deserves an upgrade

The location is very nice and the hotel staffs are very friendly and also accommodating. The Rooms are very comfy and gives a traditional kerala vibe.

No hot water

Beautiful location, excellent food, very friendly staff and super relaxing Ayuervidic massage.

The massage area and especially the steam cabin could have been a bit more hygienic.

Ambience

Sunlight penetration's through the window glass due to lack of curtain shade selections. Caused distressed sleep.
