We have stayed in many many Indian hotels and Gulaab Niwas belongs to the top tier. Clean swimming pool, well maintained garden, helpful reception, good room, comfortable beds, kind waiters and excellent food. Upon request here’s a special thank you for Sonu and Arjun ( and I can tell you: we usually never ever honour such a request!).

Wifi connection is slow and unstable. Annoying if you have to do work.

Nice swimming pool and good location, only a ten minute walk to the sunset point in pushkar. We had breakfast and lunch here both days and the food was excellent, Mukesh Rawat was very helpful at advising which was the best food to select and was very friendly throughout. The property was also very good at organising our taxi to Ajmer and a camel safari

Fantastic location just a short walk from the lake. Room was spacious and very comfortable. It is a very grand looking but quite new building. Staff were great. Special mention to Mukesh Rawat our waiter and to the pizza chef, Lalaram. It was such a lovely experience eating pizza outside cooked in the outside woodfire pizza oven.

Our experience was perfect. During the night you have an amazing city view with light on the hotel and swimming pool. We receive a perfect treatment from Mukesh Rawat and Shankar that were so kind and professional. We suggest this hotel!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We liked how clean the pool was, friendly people were, and delicious food was. We want to thank the staff in the restaurant for attending our needs. Their coffee was superb!

The location is great, with wonderful views of the lake from the balcony or garden. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi speed seemed pretty good although I didn't test it for calls. Excellent and diverse food at breakfast and exceptional service from the staff: special thanks to Arjun and Virendra.

The AC was leaking a bit and the smell in the bathroom was not so good if the ventilator was stopped. However I only stayed one night so this was not a problem for me.

The Gulaab Niwas Palace is an hotel with an incredible charm. Looks like an old palace coming from previous century. The rooms are spacious with a nice view in Pushkar lake. The garden with swimming pool and restaurants is very well maintained. In the night they use wood pit fires near the tables to make the environment warm and more dreamy. The restaurant is equipped with a wood oven installed in the garden, cooking fresh foods with very high quality. A special thanks to the Hotel Manager Mr Virendra Singh, to the staff of the hotel always attending all our requests and to the chef Mr Lalaram that has cooked one of the best pizza I eat out of Italy. Definitely I recommend the hotel to all visitors of Pushkar are looking for a nice atmosphere and a comfortable hotel

Mr. Shankar, the property manager is an absolute delight to work with. He has gone above and beyond to make us stay comfortable and to offer our to offer us incentives throughout our stay the staff is very cordial and friendly. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to enjoy beautiful family oriented place to stay while enjoying the beauty of Pushkar.

This is a large slightly business like hotel but it was very clean and the staff helpful. The location above the lake makes it quite cool with lovely views but a 10 minute walk along a fairly unpleasant road. We ate twice and the food was excellent and fairly priced. There’s no alcohol. The pool was lovely to have with poolside towels provided. There is a pretty inner courtyard for resting and the place is quieter than being nearer to the lake.

The restaurant is bare and without much ambience but we ate outside. Breakfast didn’t have enough alternatives to traditional Indian food.

We had a wonderful stay! The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was very friendly and cooperative—special thanks to Virendra and Arjun for his exceptional support. Since we were traveling with kids, we needed frequent housekeeping assistance, and the team was always prompt and helpful. The property’s location is superb, with all major attractions close by. The staff even prepared special food for us during our fasting days, which was truly thoughtful. They also helped us with car cleaning, which was a big plus. Overall, a very comfortable and memorable experience—we’d definitely recommend this place!
