From the moment we arrived, **Jaggi ji and Sohel ji** made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warm hospitality and cooperative nature added a personal touch to our stay that we’ll always remember. 🏨 **Location-wise**, the hotel is perfectly situated—just **300 meters from Jodhpur Railway Station**, making it super convenient for travelers. The rooms and common areas were **spotlessly clean**, and the overall ambiance was peaceful and relaxing. 🍽️ We ordered food during our stay, and it was **absolutely delicious**—fresh, flavorful, and served with care. One of the highlights was enjoying the **breathtaking view of Mehrangarh Fort from the terrace**, especially during sunset. It’s a sight to behold! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The hotel truly gives you a **family-like feeling**, which makes it ideal for both solo travelers and families. **Maharashtrian guests** will feel especially at home here, as **Jaggi ji himself hails from Maharashtra** and understands the comfort and preferences of fellow Maharashtrians. 🍬 Right in front of the hotel, you’ll find **Janta Sweets**, a local favorite offering authentic Jodhpur delicacies—perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. 🛍️ And if you're in the mood for shopping, **Shyam Silk Shop** is also just across the street. Govind Hotel is less than five minutes' walk from Jodhpur railway station and convenient for most of the city. I was very warmly greeted by the friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable with hot showers (although the hot water is available only 7-10am). The rooftop restaurant has an excellent menu and is reasonably priced - also serves the best chai masala I have ever drunk (a fair-sized pot too); the restaurant also has great views of the fort.

On arrival, I asked for a kettle and was told that although they couldn't supply one, if I wanted hot water to make coffee at any time, I could ask for it at reception - I had to leave early on my final morning, so asked for hot water and was given luke-warm water. Also, the hotel is shuttered at night (the shutter is opened around 5am) which, although there is always someone sleeping in reception, makes me wary of safety (in case of fire etc.)

Perfect location for an overnight stay in-between connecting trains from Jodhpur. It's a 5 minute walk from the station and they WhatsApp you prior to arrival with clear instructions on how to get to the property. The staff were kind and accommodating, allowing us to pre order breakfast ahead of an early departure the following morning.

Probably not the best location for exploring Jodhpur or it's fort, but we had already visited the city a week before and stayed closer to the old town so this was fine for one night.

Very helpful property owner and staff who gave clear instructions to reach the hotel, arranged to get our luggage up two flights of stairs and gave good guidance for shopping and transit times to various places of tourist interest. Further they also linked us up with a very reliable three wheeler driver allowing us to enjoy our stay. The property was also kind enough to take our dinner order and serve it very close to their kitchen close timings and they didn't make any issues over it. We were ble to leave our luggage with them post check out and come back later in the evening at the time of our departure to collect it and they even allowed us to use a washroom prior to this.

Lighting in the room and the rooftop restaurant could be a tad brighter and a pair of bathroom slippers would be helpful. Suggest you order Indian rather than Chinese food in their terrace restaurant that has a nice vibe to it.

Just 5 minutes walking distance from the railway station. Calm and quite atmosphere. Room and wash room were clean. Nice hospitality and behaviour of the owner and staffs are very much appreciable. They are also running a vegetarian restaurant on the roof top. Can enjoy food with a scenic view of Mehrangarh Fort.

friendly owner and all of staff are very kind and very welcome to me. I had amazing time to stay there and I talked with owner and staff lots things like we are pal. without even making a face, they were very welcome to me even I visited the hotel around 6am to check in cuz the bus which I took was arriving to Jodhpur in early morning. next time definitely I'll check in right time :) food and view from roof top restaurant were amazing I stayed there outside for long time it very chill you'll see that. location is decent to access to station. cheers.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the railway station. You can get autos from in front of the hotel to go to anywhere. It's on second floor, easy to spot. Jagdish di was very cooperative and had communicated the directions before I arrived. Very well-behaved staff, always there to help you. The hotel has a good vegetarian restaurant too. You can have food on the terrace with great views of the fort. If you have a train to catch, this is the ideal place to stay.

A nice hotel in a nice location, close to the station, and a short walk to the city center. Rooms are well-maintained and everything is clean. Cozy rooftop area, with especially friendly staff who are happy to chat and help you. Would reccomend for solo travelers, couples and families.

Not too much water coming out of the shower, but makes sense since I was on the top floor. Water was hot, so shower was great!

The location is super right by the train station. The staff were amazing and really helpful. The value for money here is amazing - we were staying one night and it was perfect. The rooftop is perfect to hang out at.

The rooms are quite old and dusty. They only provide the big blanket for duvet and no sheet underneath which doesn’t feel super hygienic.

The staff were helpful and friendly, upgraded us to a better room for free! Room was clean and comfortable, hotel very close to train station and walking distance from restaurants and fort. Restaurant as part of hotel was great, and Roopo who works there took us on a village safari which was really excellent.
