I stayed at this hotel for a week and had an excellent experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. Wifi and air-con very good, beautiful garden area to relax, room was a good size. The hotel is situated in a quiet location away from the dusty, noisy and cramped old town. An elevator/lift is currently being installed. This will certainly help if you are on the upper floors. Helpful, very kind and wonderful staff. Nice and plentiful breakfast that set us up for the day. We needed an early breakfast at 0730 on our check-out day, to which they accommodated and we were extremely grateful. The food on the menu was fantastic. We had the Dal and fried rice etc. All were freshly freshly and affordable. Apart from the refrigerator and mattress issue, a wonderful place in a peaceful part of Jodhpur.

A refrigerator would be highly appreciated in the room. The "double" bed was 2 quite hard single mattresses pushed together, which made for an uneasy and uncomfortable night.

The little hotel is a paradise Island in Jodhpur. Very clean, beautiful garden, spacious bedroom, nice personal, good food at its private restaurant. There is nothing to blame, you can rest after visiting Jodhpur, and you will need it ! Do not take another hotel in the center of the blue city, you can really have a good and enjoyed time in this hotel. I recommend this hotel without hesitation! In high season, book in advance because I think there are only 12 bedrooms...

Nothing to complain. The large and half soft bed was comfortable, but my wife prefers very soft 😁 The hotel is not in the city center, but who will be crazy to stay in the center and its dust ???

Managers and staff very keen to give of their best at all times despite their lack of professional training in hospitality. Large bedroom with shared veranda to garden with square lawn and borders. Bathroom basic but served its purpose. Food nicely prepared and tasted good. Staff always on hand to make sure you are being well-looked after. Strong Wi-Fi signal. Excellent laundry at very reasonable prices.

Hotel not that easy to find. You had to ask for the kind of information that most hotels provide in ways easily accessible to guests. Communication in English sometimes difficult.

The Hanuwant Niwas is off a back street, which means no street noise and it was a super surprise to access via the large garden this far more imposing hotel than shown in booking.com's photos. My room was wonderfully large with 2 overhead fans, not that they were much needed as the nights were cool mid February. Fresh towels were provided daily & the water in the shower, heated by an individual immersion heater meant hot water was ample. The large garden and veranda were delightful places to sit, with breakfast served outside as dinner can be too.

The host was amazingly kind and forthcoming with worthwhile tips. He ordered trustworthy TucTuc drivers for us and essentially organized a cheap city tour for us this way. He invited us to have drinks and dinner with a few of his friends, which allowed for interesting and inspiring conversations with people from fully different backgrounds. Even when we accidentally took the hotel key with us on our way to the next city, he met us half way to pick it up and was very understanding about it. The rest of the staff was also as pleasant and kind as can be. The room was clean and pleasant, particularly the balcony is a great place to sit, have a snack and scheme out the next site visit. The garden is a small oasis, particularly for breakfast in the mornings.

It is not within walking distance from the center, but it is easily reachable with a TucTuc, so that is just something to keep in mind but by no means an issue. The same holds for the warm water. You need to turn it on to warm up for a moment, but again not an issue at all, just worthwhile noting.

Exceptional new construct family run hotel - with wonderful garden for dinner and sunset drinks. Loved the colonial vibe. Is a welcome oasis from the usual city noise. Owner, Mahaveerji an attentive, welcoming and personable host who treated us as family. All staff exceptionally friendly and keen to please. No a la carte menu but exceptionally good food is made to order - ditto for breakfast- which we appreciated. Would be our first choice on next visit.

Family is learning as they go along and very open to fixing minor tweaks but starting standard is already high and nothing that detracts from exceptionalism and relative value for money

Had an fabulous time here for 2 nights. The rooms were spacious and clean. It had a comfort of a hotel and the warmth of a homestay. Mr Devi was extremely courteous and helpful in every way. Shanker served us fabulous fresh and delicious food for dinner and breakfast.

Nothing much that i didn't like. A suggestion for maybe more varieties in the breakfast buffet.

The hotel has been open for a couple of months. it is amazing, in the heart of the City and yet a tranquil oasis from the busy streets of Jodhpur. The staff are so helpful and do everything they can to make your stay memorable. the room was clean and the food was excellent I highly recommend that you stay here and I would give it more starts if it was possible. thank you to Mahveer Singh Ji for looking after us.

Beautiful setting in a quiet (relatively, it's India) neighborhood. Wonderful garden. We had the rooms on the second floor with the terrace, which made a relaxing evening place to have a few drinks. Breakfast was fine, there was a small buffet and we could order whatever was not there, WiFi constantly went down, but they tried to fix it every time. Personnel was very friendly and helpful.
