What a gem of a place. It's in the heart of the old town, but up a quiet little street, only 5 minutes walk to the clock tower. The rooms are gorgeous, huge and very comfortable. Hot water was plentiful. The place itself is a beautiful old haveli, with character, with an inside courtyard for seating, and a rooftop bar/restaurant with stunning views of the fort. We were leaving on the final morning early, and the manager arranged breakfast sandwiches to take with us in the car, much appreciated. Highly recommend.

The staff at the rooftop restaurant are hopeless. Took 2 hours to get a basic breakfast of boiled eggs, toast and tea.

It is an excellent option for staying in the Blue City! Conveniently located within a short walking distance to the Fort, the lovely Blue City, Spice Market, Clock Tower, and Step Well. The property is also surrounded by plenty of local shops, pharmacies, cafes, and restaurants. For exploring further, rickshaws are readily available right in front of the property. The rooms and toilets are clean and spacious enough, ensuring a comfortable stay. There’s also a rooftop cafe where you can enjoy meals while taking in the stunning views of the Blue City and the Fort. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and responsive, always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Mayb the WiFi connection could be improved as it was very reliable at times

Beautiful building in the haveli style, beautifully decorated and styled. Our bedroom was fabulous, lots of storage areas, bed was big and comfortable. The location was close to the clock tower and easy walk to the fort.

The bedroom overlooked the narrow street and intersection so was noisy with motorcycles and dogs barking, but this seems common in northern India. The bedroom adjoined another bedroom and there was decorative windows joining the two, when other guests had their lights on it shone into our room. Also noisy when guests talked outside the room late at night

Great location for exploring Jodhpur. Clean and spacious room. Had plenty of blankets so not cold as it gets chilly at night in the winter. Plenty of hot water. Staff were nice and welcoming, we arrived before check in and no problem to store our luggage. Free WiFi available. Beautiful decoration throughout. Breakfast was tasty and the view on the rooftop is absolutely incredible!

It wasn't an issue for us as we were able to sleep but it is quite noisy if you have a balcony room. Nothing to do with the hotel but the people and dogs of Jodhpur are loud all night long so if you're sensitive to noise I'd suggest requesting a room away from the street. But it was a lovely place to stay and I would happily stay again.

In house restaurant was costly but same is case with all other restaurants in area due to roof top view of mehrangarh fort. No Parking facility..but again same is case with all other hotels in this area due to narrow lanes Maintenance of walls of rooms was not done properly but again I will not complain seeing the price point

The hotel was really nice with rooms set around an open aired courtyard 3 or so stories high. Rooms are tastefully decorated. The bed is huge and comfortable. Danish the manager took us for a walk to the step well which was amazing and was so kind of him to do this. Wish we had more time here we would definitely stay here again. We had to leave very early the next morning at 5.30am so Danish booked the tuk tuk for us and packed breakfast for us to take away. Would recommend this place 100%

The hot water runs out fast in the shower but that didn't really matter. Although there was no view from our room there is a beautiful view of the blue city from the roof top restaurant

Any time again! Really very good price-performance ratio! Clean and cozy rooms, very good location, very nice and helpful team and the owner takes care of all the wishes of his guests and gives tips in really all matters. We felt very well looked after and would check in here again at any time! There is also a restaurant with a rooftop terrace. There is delicious Indian food and even wood-fired pizza - really good and relaxing! highly recommended! both hotel and restaurant!

The breakfast took a lot of time. The team was slow, not motivated and sometimes we thought the do not want to understand us.

The service and response from staff was very good. Ravindra was excellent and ensured we were comfortable. Even Mota bhai at kitchen was very good and made good breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was good and having it in the rooftop gave added value due to the views and ambiance. The service and quality of food was good👌 The room with the heritage value was large and comfortable. Moreover the location was ideal for us to explore the Blue city.

Breakfast was awesome - quite some choice from continental to indian dishes, many will find a favorite here. The view from the rooftop is a must while either enjoying breakfast or dinner. Sheets and towels were clean (very important). Yes, not everything is highly, tidy polished to a 5* room, but thats what you are looking for right now, no? And believe me, i have been in 5* and 4* here around in India, which had some serious drawbacks in comparison. Daanish (the owner) was very helpful and made it a very pleasant and welcoming stay. Also don't forget to ask about tours and activities around the city. The water cooker was broken when i tried it [yeah, this things can happen always and anywhere], but it got replaced within a minute without hazzle.

I was lost at first, dropped by the TukTuk driver in front of the building as there is no sign (yet) stating its' the King's Retreat. So trust your Google and GPS and enter the very blue building next to a small mini-shop. Carefull - this building/stay is not for walking-impaired persons. Also the steps to the rooftop are higher than "the norm", be sure to be good on your feet and shoes. The new sign of the hotel is promised to come soon. If i return to India, specifically Jodhpur, i will check it out :P Wifi is not working (good) on the rooftop - but hey, how about turning down the phone and enjoy the view? In any way, just ask the owner or others for some hotspot if in need.

I really love staying in small hotels like this. You can get a personal experience not usual in big hotels. The room was good and I liked the roof terrace with views of the fort. Breakfast and dinners were really good and beer was available. Daanish and the staff did all possible to make me as a solo traveler feel welcome. This extended to a couple of trips out with Daanish to show me some great photographic spots. They organise photo tours with a pro photographer who was not there while my stay.
