The hotel has an excellent location right beside the sinh sadan and is within the forest area itself. The property is little old and some of the area require restoration but repair has been restricted by environment ministry due to its proximity to the core area of the jungle. The rooms are well furnished and have a beautiful sit outs. The Dining area itself gives you a terrific view of the jungle and you can easily hear jungle sounds and lion roars.

Renovation of property would make a big difference.

Nice & delicious breakfast spread out. Good personal care by all the waiters to serve us piping hot food. Good advice by Adalat & Zail for the dinner menu & sightseeing at Girnar. Thanks to the GM of Taj Gir Serai -Rajeev Chandran for helping us for the safari and receptionist (Asim Maity). Highly recommended stay. This place is just 2 mins from the safari booking. Beautifully nestled inside the forest. Feels like a homestay for relaxation. All the staff were extremely warm and polite.

The staff were very considerate, we were going for the safari at 6.00am and as the jeep was leaving the staff member came running out and gave us blankets saying you will feel cold. He was right as the wind chill reduced the temperature, we were very thankful for that person’s( sadly did not get his name) helpful attitude

The location, the layout and the rooms. It’s just next to the safari booking office and therefore very convenient. Cleanliness is excellent. Restaurant has got decent options. Very peaceful and green.

There wasn’t anything not to like, but the restroom needs to have clothes hangers

Amazing property. Staff makes your stay comfortable and relaxed. Right from reception to kitchen staff everyone was very good. We must give special thank to Moumita and Apu for making our evening enjoyable. They have arranged musical night. They both sings very well and I have also tried to sing first time. Overall very good experience.

Excellent Location, Great Food, Great Service and Fabulous Staff. As such all the people were very nice and helpful. However special mention for Apu in the restaurant, Milan ji for Safari Logistics and Moumita for Co-ordination. Had a fabulous stay.

Every time I visit Gir serai, the staff over there eapecially Sajid bhai and Apu bhai makes it feel like home for us. The warm calm and happy vibes makes our stay pleasant.

Nothing, but to improve I would say they can make the room size slightly bigger

Property is good. Though it’s not new but well maintained. It’s close to the Gir Safari ticket reservation centre. Pool was good but the TT rackets were not good. Overall the stay was great. The kitchen staff was very good and so was the food.

The location, the staff, rooms and food very great. For the price though it wasnt as luxurious as other Taj properties, it was still very welcoming.

The size of the property is small, other than that not much to not like
