I've stayed at Balaji Sarovar on two occasions now, and I have to say this time it was incredible. The hotel is a luxe one, and looks the part. The rooms are big and capacious, with nice amenities and fittings. We were treated like royalty by the staff (for a few reasons). They went out of their way to look after us, and provide us excellent service. We will definitely stay here every time we need to be in Solapur.

There was a mixup at check in, where two sets of guests (we were one set) were allotted the same room by mistake. There ensued an embarrassing interaction, where I was trying to open the room with my key at 11 pm, only to be greeted by the confused occupant.

Best quality and freshly made food - delicious and no overload of red or green chilies. I met the Chef and thanked him personally. Room Service is prompt and super friendly! However Room Service couldn't make me a sandwich with coffee I needed early morning at 620am before hitting the road. Room Service Call taker said Chef wont be able to make sandwich at this hour and nothing else was available to much with coffee. Spacious room and bathrooms with all modern amenities. Didn't use the pool, Gym or Spa. Its located close to the Airport and in the posh area. If you are also planning teerth yatra (pilgrimage) to Ganagapur Dattatrey Mandir, Akkalkot Swami Smarth Maharj Mandir, Shri Tuljhabhawani Mandir and Pandharpur Vithhla Mandir then staying in central city for 2 days makes a lot of sense. Room was sound proofed. AC & air quality was fine. Water quality was good on hair. Location is also in safer part of the city. Staff speaks English, Hindi, Marathi etc. No racial discrimination basis religion, color etc. amongst staff though converted North East staff doesn't look friendly when one wears a tilak or greets in Hindiui way.

Bathroom's window glass curtain needed cleaning from back side (unroll it to see the black fungus). House keeping guy (evening shift) forgot to give us face tissues, hand towels, face towels and shower gel despite reminding him twice. Otherwise room was clean, no damp smell or cigarette, meat or alcohol smell. Bed was quite comfortable and bed linen was super clean.

This is my 5th stay at this hotel. The staff go above and beyond to meet all of our needs. The hospitality is amazing and the food is delicious with lots of variety and options. We mistakenly left our passports in the safe abd traveled to Hyderabad. The hotel actually arranged a hotel employee to drive the passports to us ( a 12 hour drive)! We thought we would have to cancel our flight, but thanks to their kind help we were able to make the morning flight. Thank you Balaji Saravor!!!

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was a bit pricey, but was value for money with a wide spread of Indian and continental items. Laundry was done quickly when requested.

Rooms were initially provided far from each other, even though requested to be together during booking. After reminding the staff, they quickly obliged and provided side by side rooms. One room did not have hand towels. Housekeeping provided it on day 2. In room dining took some time (15-30 mins) to deliver coffee.

The food very very bad experience we ordered crispy corn crunchy & mutton deep fry but food came as gravy we return and spoke to chef and explained him what we want and the dishes we ordered is universal we did not ordered customized even though second time preparation of mutton was pathatic & the way chef response and his attitude was worst. any how not spoil our mood we got food parcel from outside and enjoyed the stay. last year and from past year in room dinning food was good but not sure what happen this time food was worst and chef is from kholapur even though he is failed to prepare mutton and other stuff. "We stayed 2 days alternate dates" the feed back is from good intentions not to blame or complain . any how good luck for your in room dinning food preparations.

They had a buffet breakfast which included South Indian, North Indian as well as continental spread. The breakfast was pretty tasty too. We could order on demand too, which was great.

Although the staff is extremely courteous, they just make it very obvious that they are expecting a tip. For example, the person who brought our luggage to our rooms, just didnt leave but kept looking at us. I mean, when we plan to stay for a few days, we wouldn't be tipping each time. Not a big red flag, but just this one factor if they can improve on, it would be great for them only.

Iam extremely delighted to be at the BSP - Solapur property. Magnificent team lead by Mr Brijesh Singh, GM. Has taken so special care of self and his warmth . I am heartily impressed with Ms Preeti M, FD for her humble courtesies and extended hospitality while taking immense care of the guests. Dinner & Breakfast buffet was served completely cold.. which is not acceptable form such a big group. They need to check room toilets.. as we booked 3 rooms and all washrooms were leaking from taps, sink and showers, also all washrooms were stinking badly.

The development is excellent, especially the pool is excellent. Utilised the meeting rooms twice, which was a good facility.

The staff needs more training to handle the client. During the meeting, 3 different people entered, which was a bit annoying for checking up requirements of Tea and coffee.
