Best place in Kumily and Kerala. And probably also in India. I cant think of any better experience. Rajesh, the manager is the most helpful and attentive managar you can imagine. He helped me to but the tickets for the 2 days itineray in Periyar Tiger reserve ( you cant do it with a non Indian credit card) and also he bought the kalarippayatu show tickets and for khatakali too. He helped me to reach ones of the best experiencies in my life ( i saw a tiger). Thanks a lot. By the way, all the staff are amazing and the rooms are cosy and huge. Very comfortable.

This is one of the best stays I have had in our Kerala trip. We booked an executive suite and our room had 2 separate rooms with separate beds which was perfect for us. They were spacious and even the bathroom was roomy. The hotel is also located in a prime location with the market within a 5 minute walk.

The hotel doesn't offer any room service so you would have to step out for any refreshments.

Liked the fact that they have connected family rooms and the daily rent is reasonable.

Didn't like the fact that the complementary breakfast is arranged in an outside restuarant and the food and cleanliness of that restuarant is questionable. It also felt like they're providing less within the agreement with the hotel.

First of all the ambience of hotel is very perfect and smoothening. The location is very near to the boating point bus embarkation place and there are nearby cultural events and martial arts display were available. the Jumbo safari point is also near to the bus point. The staff were very smart and polite and which itself will relieve the pressure of travelling.

Although hotel rooms are very large and well furnished, many rooms are not airconditioned.

The hotel is located at a great location. The kathakali and kalaripattu shows were just walking distance from the hotel. The manager Mr. Dinesh was simply wonderful. He helped with booking the tickets for the shows and got us front row seats. He also arranged th elephant safari and helped us a great deal with finding good places to eat. We had an emergency while vacationing and the entire staff was very helpful. We had to do a late check-out and everyone was kind to accommodate our requests

They have a restaurant that is currently closed. I hope they open it soon for breakfast

The hotel is very good,clean and at the centre of the city,The very good restaurant on the ground floor,The hotel manager arranged all sightseeing at reasonable cost, good car parking is there

Property is very clean and at the prime centre location from where everything is easily accessible. The hotel staff and front desk executives were very friendly, helpful and guiding us for the entire tour and making all the comfortable arrangements. Rooms are very spacious and well organised with all facilities.

The room we booked was spacious and clean. we don't usually use air condition. so we took a room without it. the bedsheets, pillows, mattress were clean and comfy. just ask the receptionist if you need anything and they will bring it to you quick. hot water was available throughout, and lots of space in room to keep your luggages. we asked for a quiet room and they provided us the quietest room. there is no lift though but the hotel staff will help you with your luggage upstairs. there is a restaurant attached to it. we could not use it because it was closed during our 1 night stay (post festival off I guess). there are atm, local veg & non veg restaurants nearby. the Thekkady boating booking place is walking distance from hotel (please book online, after you book go to the booking area, they will take you in a bus to the boating area). there are also various attractions you can book like trekking, night safari, elephant ride, river rafting etc. my advice would be to book in advance. Dinesh the property manager was very friendly and helpful. all the staffs behaviour was nice and polite.

there are many hotels starting with name "WOOD" (Woodland, Woodside, Wood etc etc) over there. the driver took us initially to a wrong Wood: hotel (unfortunately my phone internet was not working at that time). finally we managed to find this place. there is a bank opposite to hotel and I used it as reference point for tuk tuk during my stay. i understand that hotel was closed during lockdown, reopened just recently and they had some teething problems with wifi in first floor. they offered us a room on ground floor as-well for us to use wifi when needed.

No breakfast in the facility, need to eat outside. But there are plenty of hotels in the area, so food is not a problem. Our family room was spacious with balconies and 2 bath.

Parking needs to be managed, my car got stuck for some 1 hour. But the owner helped me and tried his best to get my car out and was done within 45 mnts after reporting.
