From start to finish, our stay at Aahana was phenomenal. I think we were maybe a different sort of customer to normal, arriving at 4am on a night train and only staying 1 night, but the staff were so attentive and friendly despite our short stay. A massive shout out to Ankita in the reservations whatsapp, who made our stay glide with ease. She offered an early check-in for a reduced fee for our very early arrival and was constantly keeping me updated about safaris and their availability, and wasn't pushing to book anything due to the weather. We also had a room upgrade and a free extended check-out all the fit more conveniently around our trains, which made our stay even better. The pool area is stunning, as is the whole hotel, and we look forward to coming back in a better season to try and see Tigers next time!

Just a little suggestion: would have been nice to have had drinks offered around the pool. But otherwise, perfect!

Our stay at Ahana Retreat, Jim Corbett, was truly the most beautiful experience we’ve had. The hotel is nestled amidst the lush nature, surrounded by trees that add to its breathtaking charm. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s hospitality exceeded all expectations – they were so soft-spoken, caring, and attentive, making us feel completely at home. One of the highlights was the special evening teas and cultural programs that added a unique touch to the experience. The property itself is a haven of relaxation and enjoyment, with beautiful, impeccably clean rooms and every amenity thoughtfully designed for the guests’ comfort. A special mention must go to the owners Mr Kamal and Mrs Ranjana, who along with their family live on-site and dine from the same kitchen as their guests. This speaks volumes about the quality and care that go into every meal, featuring delicious organic food that was an absolute delight. Their hospitality was out of this world and added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. Ahana Retreat has everything one could dream of for a perfect getaway – nature, comfort, cleanliness, and unmatched warmth. It’s a true five-star experience in every sense, and we can’t wait to return!

Very clean and comfortable property with comfy beds and impeccable linens. Staff was very friendly. Delicious and diverse variety of food. Their traditional Thali is the best. Staff did all their best to make our stay comfortable. The property is rich in Flora and fauna, also covers a big area. With my kids we did bicycling inside the property. The property has many interesting things to do like their water recycling plant, nature walk, vedic massage etc. We stayed for 3 days. This stay was memorable. The owner and staff of the property were very humble and easy to approach. We shared many conversations during our stay. I particularly like the wooden interior in the room and was impressed with their commitment to ecology. All in all we are very happy to stay there. We thank Vivek, harshit, Mr. Arun Kumar, Mr. Balram and the whole management staff for their unparallel hospitalities.

The room was beautiful and clean. The pool was also very nice and warm for a change.

Again as in other Indian resorts they charge your credit card in euro's without asking. The actual charge is then higher then when charged in Rupees. This is always in their advantage.

The property is built keeping Nature in mind, starting from sustainable waste water treatment to growing their vegetables organically. The property is adjacent to Bijrani zone so if you happen to stay in a room overlooking the forests, you might get lucky. We got to see deer and jackals. The staff were very helpful and considerate. They accommodated all our requests and went an extra mile to make our stay relaxing and comfortable.

Very comfortable room, bed and pillows. Huge bath and large-size shower enclosure. Balcony looking out onto nature. Food was excellent from breakfast fruit and omelette to dinner choices. Great service from the staff arranging safari and transport.

Waiters can be a little intrusive.

Excellent property and grounds, luxurious rooms and facilities, wonderful food and superb service. Beautifully maintained and everywhere spotless, crystal clear pool in a natural setting with no mosquitoes due to natural plant deterrent. Not bitten once which is unheard of for me! Great safari trips that can be booked via reception desk. Chef producing excellent international and Indian cuisine, a la carte to order with lovely light touch of freshness and flavours with amazing choice across breakfast and dinner. Room immaculate. A must visit and worth the drive.

For international tourists, front reception could provide exchange to smaller rupee notes of larger notes, and have more reliable credit card machine on check-out.

An absolutely stunning property in incredible surroundings! We were given 1st class treatment the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Upon arrival we were surprised with a candlelight dinner to celebrate our honeymoon. They even made a cake for us! We couldn’t thank them enough.

excellent dedicated staff and unparalleled hospitality. Mr. Nishant is running the show very well with his team and giving the guests, the level of service that other properties can only dream to achieve. We celebrated out dad’s 70th birthday and the whole team was out and out trying to make the moment special for our family. Mr. Bhagat from the restaurant services took care of all our needs and even accommodated all last minute requests. Big shout out for his commitment. The food is super tasty (practically everything) and the spice levels are all well balanced. The fun activities and the on property activities are enough to keep you occupied all day. Everything! A beautiful resort with very welcoming, attentive, efficient, and professional staff. Runs on an environmentally friendly self-sustaining model, which makes it really pleasant and peaceful. Good birdlife on property. Gorgeous rooms. Good food. Great organisation of Jeep safari into national park.
