It's calm and peaceful

The owner (Maria) was spectacularly helpful. I arrived late and hadn't organised dinner and Maria made magic happen via the Grab app. The rest of the staff are solid gold too. Everyone from the security guy to the housekeeper were just so bloody wonderful that I felt bad leaving! The communal lounge room is spacious enough to support many people without tripping over each other, the pool was divine and there's a gym/yoga studio that you just wouldn't expect to see. A selling point for me was that there were a couple of digital nomads who were living and working there for 2 months. They'd have breakfast, go for a swim, log onto the wifi and earn a living. I would come back in a heartbeat.

This is not a gleaming, modern cutting-edge hotel. It's a small, ntimate guesthouse that cannot be judged purely on the slightly shabby tiles or the fact that it took aaaaages for the hot water to come out of the shower. If you don't laugh at the ducks jumping into the pool for a swim, perhaps this is not the place for you.

We stayed here for a few days with our friends and absolutely loved it. The rooms were amazing, we spent most of our time around the pool which we loved and all the staff was so kind and helpful. We were in Bali for over a month and stayed at a number of hotels but this was definitely the best. Would recommend this to anyone travelling to Canggu.

Everything! This villa is absolutely amazing! The staff are so so so kind. Amazing host! They kindly gave anything I asked for and made me feel so welcomed! They make you super good breakfast everyday, and if I needed something they always solved my problem - like the time I forgot my key in the room and Maria printed a new card key so I can get in with no problem, or she also rent me her hair dryer bc mine stopped working. They were so helpful. And the villa itself is super cozy and amazing place to stay! I will defenitely come back here when i stay in Bali next time!!!!

Villa Neshama is a beautiful location in a quiet part of Canggu, with the centre of Canggu with shops and restaurants within vert short travel distance by cab or scooter. The owner paid attention to details and integration with natural elements when designing the compound. There is a spacious yoga exercise area, a large swimming pool and a pond with quiet ducks and fish. The rooms are well designed and equipped and kept clean. The living room has confortable couches, plenty of entertainment equipment (tv, audio, playstation, books) and drinking water supply. Breakfast is served there by a cook, who was very friendly to us.

Overall: Amazing host and friendly staff, cleaning every day, beautiful territory, very quite and calm. Room: spacious, comfortable bed and pillows, canopy which protects from mosquitoes, big fridge. There is a table which is big enough for the laptop, and what was important for me - a safe which is big enough to put Macbook pro 16'. We were worrying about insects, especially spiders. But we met just ants (you should be ready for this). Maybe there are no spiders because there are a lot of geckos and those little cuties protect from spiders. Territory: clean swimming pool, sound of river, zero sound from cars, a lot of plants. Also there are cute friendly animals who became our friends: Belka dog, Tortik cat, and two ducks Momo and Mimi. There is also a place for sports with boxing gloves, punching bag, and a place for yoga with gong. The host invited a professional master of sound who managed a meditation session with the gong and a lot of other unusual music instruments. That was an interesting experience. Comfortable parking for bikes. Also while we were here they completed the new kitchen and now we have breakfasts every day. Which is a time-saver for us so that we can eat and go exploring the island.

Parking area is not big enough to park few cars simultaneously. However there is an area in 20 meters where I was parking the car.

The room is big and has many windows with great and much light! The bathroom is HUGE als due to an seethrough roof it feels like an outside shower. Awesome stay if you want to stay near canggu (10-15 min ride to the beach). The staff and the owner are supercute and nice, you will feel very welcome. You can borrow helmets for free for any scooterrides to be safe. Would live to come back next time!

I found the staff at Villa Neshama to be very kind and helpful. laundry was nicely organised for me when I enquired about it. really can’t state just how nice everybody was

I found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable and didn’t really sleep well on any of the three nights I stayed there. there is an issue with ants around the property so that if you were to stand around by the pool, your feet would be crawling with them. there were also ants in the bathroom. I think that if I was staying with my girlfriend there, I would want a bit more privacy in the room that I stayed in as you had to do a bit of fancy work with the curtains to stop anybody from accidentally seeing inside through the many windows of the room. this obviously being a lot more prevalent at night when the lights are on.

I loved the environment and peaceful atmosphere. It honestly felt like my home away from home. I loved the lighting in my room, the bed was so comfy and the AC and fridge worked great. The shower in the bathroom was amazing and although I didn’t use the bath tub it looked great as well. It was honestly the best sleep I have had in Bali. Maria the owner was super considerate and helpful with letting me check in early, helping arrange a ride to airport and helping me exchange some money to make it to the airport. I can’t thank her enough. 🙏🏻 There is also a really nice yoga studio, chill area to watch tv and play games, beautiful pool, lots of fury friends and two friendly ducks who will follow you around. Over all I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return! ☺️💕
