The location is good. Right at the center of berastagi. There is an impressive garden at the ground door which feel like walking in a tropical forest. Every corner of the hotel is well decorated to detail and in a nature style. The room is clean. The double bed is super big even for two persons. I am surprised to find such a nice hotel in a small town like berastagi and at such a reasonable price.

The only inconvenience is it takes a few minutes before the hot water became hot. But considering the hotel is in the mountain area this is acceptable.

This hotel is beautiful, they have done a great job with the aesthetics and the vibe. The gardens are beautiful and the restaurant is Devine and the food is great. The rooms are well appointed, they really tried to go for a modern feel, beds are super comfy and they give you 4 pillows which was a dream.

BREAKFAST!

Hotel Lobby was very well furnished in the traditional Indonesian style with plenty of wooden and natural furnishing. Room was of a large size and tastefully decorated with a big balcony outside with lovely scenery of the countryside. Overall we find the hotel to be of good value for money for the price we pay. One of the best hotel in Berastagi. The Roof Top Restaurant was a good place to eat and relax in beautiful surrounding with nice views.

Breakfast was very basic and not to our expectation for the money we pay. The range of food provided can be improved.

We were staying at the new building. I love the Japanese vibes, the tatami bed was so comfortable. The room size was just enough. Shower pressure was satisfying.

Breakfast was so poor. Personally, I always consider hotel breakfast as one of the staycation experience. Breakfast needs to wonderful, both taste and variety. Kalang Ulu failed to deliver that. Breakfast really really needs to be improved, considering the price we pay. Staffs also need more training in hospitality.

The rooms are clean and the views are nice. Staff checking us in was very friendly and made sure that our three rooms are close to each other.

The onsite restaurant was booked for an event. We didn't have a car so there really was no alternatives for us in regards to food. Breakfast was not great.

The concept. Arrived at night and you can see the brightest place at the corner. The only brightest place at that area. Very calm and peaceful. The room very spacious. It comes with a beautiful balcony. The bed also big can fit to 3.

Shower area as im not quite comfortable with the stones there.

I can hear all the sounds from out there especially yang jaga parking kat bawah hotel its a bit uncomfortable for me :(

The design was cool

Maybe can arrange transport from hotel to junctions within 300m only because its difficult to us bring our luggage. Or staff got some alternatif to help for foreign has no car

Nice for relaxing in the coffee shop

We can hear very clear next room activity, so very disturbing while we want sleep more

The location is great and the hotel and the rooms are nice.

The rooms are not well isolated and you can hear all your neighbours.
