The staff are amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic customer service. They even take an extra mile calling in to check if everything is okay after check-in. Calls in to invite us for breakfast. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Good water pressure too.

The bathroom has only ONE door for the shower and the actual toilet. It’s a nice concept but privacy wise, I think this needs to be improved as the toilet/shower has no locks at all. Also, the air freshener in the lift is VERY strong. You’ll almost get dizzy from the very strong smell.

I love love love the hot rain shower. The toilet is clean and spacious. The bed is a bit hard for me (that is just my preference), but the pillows are nice, and bedsheets are comfortable. The plugs are 3 pins, so Malaysians, you can use your electronics without the need for an adapter. Would definitely stay here again.

The buffet breakfast is a bit bland for me. But they do provide porridge, local dish, pastries, cereals, coffee, omelette and salad station. I would expect more of the local dishes station but what they offer is more than enough. The stations should be able to cater your kids and elderly needs.

Breakfast could be more varieties.. but overall is good. Some food needed to be warmed up 😃 Ramzi & Anwar are doing their job very well 👍 Ridwan (security guy), very professional, very friendly and very helpful. Always out of his way to give better service to the customers.. Ridwan solved the accident of my guest’s car at car park nicely 👍 Ridwan also always get out into the main road outside the hotel to direct the driver of my Grab car I ordered. Very pleasant guy 🙏

The hotel was great. The breakfast was good. The wifi was excellent and the hotel was located directly opposite the bus tansjakarta system. Could not fault the actual hotel.

Jakarta is to be honest a horrible place and to thatvend i left early. Very few situations where you get off a bus and things to do. Yes some malls but not interested as could be anywhere in the world. People often rude. Place just had nothing to offer

First time staying in Matraman area. Surprisingly I had a nice experience especially with 3 staffs. Mr Harun, receptionist on duty on my second day of stay, was very helpful when I had a problem with the noise from the water piping above my room. He quickly suggested me to change room and also gv a late check out up to 3 pm. Mr Anwar, from the kitchen, quickly cooked a vegetable for me ,upon my feedback about one of the vegetable that's too hard to chew. Ms Trivena, a student trainee , has been so helpful anytime I need some assistance. I will return to this hotel. Many thanks to Holiday Inn Matraman for the genuine hospitality on my stay 8-10 of March 2024. Food : 7.5/10 Service : 10/10 Room : 8/10 Best view I got is from room 805, the highest floor at this hotel. Sunrise on the left and mountain on the right. Night view : city light. The noise from above my room, during my stay, on the 2nd night there's a problem with the water piping, but the staff had been very good in handling the problem , Mr Harun was nice, prepared another room for me at 3rd n 6th floor. He informed that the problem has been reported to the technical team.

We booked two connecting room and the hotel is able to accomodate it. The staffs are super friendly and helpful👌👌. I’m quite surprised to see Herman Miller chair in the room, it’s every product designer’s dream office chair.

We reported that one of the TV is broken in day two of our stay. It hasn’t been resolved even after we checked out in the fourth day.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are new and clean. Feel safe in the hotel area. There is a gym, amenities are good

AC is sorta warm in my room, but I know the other rooms are colder where other family member stays in, so a bit inconsistent. The carpets in the room has a lot of random stains small and large. Washroom door a bit odd to operate, the food is not the best, not much options and tastes just ok

Location is really central. For that, with such price and quality, I couldn't find any other options to compete. In addition to that Holiday Inn Express holds their quality and standard on top! 🙂

The atmosphere of breakfast can be improved. Most tables are set for four. But most guest is either solo or couple. Therefore many tables couldn't be occupied. After 8am it was crowded hour and the staff were too busy and the tables weren't cleaned quickly.

Room was very clean. Bed comfortable. Amenities all good.

More selection for buffet breakfast Liked the egg station👍 Don't mixed the salad with the salad dressing, it was very soggy, let the guests put them themselves, it looks better that way, add more things to the salad, tomatoes, capsciums Have more choices of bread type

The room was amazing, I asked for a nice view and the reception gave us the front city view. I could watch the sunset, and Jakarta's amazing skyline. Bed, pillows and linens were so comfortable. Room was big and I love the lightings and the big TV as well, they didn't hurt my eyes when I work on my laptop. Love the working desk too! Breakfast was great, the coffee machine was a nice touch. The breakfast team was awesome, full of smile and always happy to help. We will be back for sure.
