Pleasant atmosphere, with it being situated in the Old City. You can feel the sense of history from the building, how it was constructed during the Dutch colonial era. The shops and restaurants around the hotel was another plus too. The rooms are clean and gives you a lot of amenities. In my experience, hotels with this kind of price (250K IDR/15 EUR) in any country are usually lacklustre with dirty sheets and bad service. This hotel meanwhile, surpasses all my expectations. Overall, the hotel is excellent for its value.

The location is just at the center of kota lama in Semarang. it's very near train station, only require 5-10mins. And the layout of the building was antique but beautiful.

It’s a beautiful building, the room was comfortable and clean. There’s a nice garden patio. The area is very nice to and nice to walk around and find some nice restaurants.

Great location right in the old town, lovely old heritage building, friendly staff, good value. The furniture and fittings in one of our two rooms was old and worn out, although rooms are being progressively refurbished at present. Would happily stay here again. Wide range of excellent food and drinks options close by.

Fabulous colonial building right in the centre of the historic Kota Lama (Old City). Walking distance to everything. Mini market next door.. staff were lovely.

One of the two rooms we booked had a pretty awful sewerage smell from the bathroom. The 'family rooms' only have cold water - more like lukewarm, though, so not too bad!

We loved our stay and extended for an additional night. Brilliant location in Kota Lama. We'd love to come back again.

Amazing place, like a museum. I’m on an 11 week trip mostly in Indonesia. This is easily the best place I’ve stayed in! It was my favourite thing about Jogya. The nicest bed I’ve ever stayed in.

Only that I can’t take it with me wherever I go.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable, great location. Staff is super friendly. And there is a nice relax area in the garden.

It is a shame there is no breakfast.

We loved how central it was to the old town and easy access to walking and food and attractions. Simple and clean hotel with cool rooms and comfy beds.

Shower was tight. Is it possible to put in a shower screen?

I like this place coz near to the tourist places , local food and the building is an ancient. Even the outside was full of tourist but inside the hotel was silence.

The pillows were hard and the air conditioner bit hot.
