- Room size is generous, a bit odd lay out in bathroom but not a biggie - Room amenities is good, it has universal power socket which is great, TV a bit small but it’s fine - Staffs are very friendly and kind - Acoustic is great as room is quiet and I could sleep very well - Very clean and impressed with selections of artwork - Check in and Check out process are very speedy

- The rooftop bar allows for smoking which is unpleasant, we had to move around to find space smoke free - Shower head needs proper clean/decalsification as water don’t come evenly - Not much hanging rail in bathroom so very difficult to keep towel nice and dry - Some decolouration visible on the linen

Alila Solo have complete and nice facility particularly the swimming pool and gym. We loved to spent time in the pool. The location also strategic, close to places we went to visit

I think the soundproof of the room, especially in the bathroom needs to be improve, as we can hear people in the next room chatting. Entrance sign nee to be a clearer one. Since, the hotel location is in the intersection, so cars, especially for the first time visitors know where is the entrance gate.

One of the great hotels in Solo. Thought not really city center but the location is good and it is walking distance from a local mall (Solo Square). Had a short but it was a pleasant stay (2 nights). The lobby is big, impressive and decorated with batik style wallpaper. Reception staff is friendly, polite and helpful. The room is beautiful and very clean, the bedding is comfortable as well, rooms are quite, could sleep very well throughout the night. The lights in the room and in the bathroom are a little dim for my taste (not bright enough and not as strategically placed). The bathroom is equipped with a tub and separate shower (Deluxe king room with tub). From tub you have a view of the city! The pool is vast and feels more private compared to some other hotel pools as it is on an upper floor, at times the wind can become strong though. The gym is super nice and functional, you can find all equipment for a good workout, directly take shower, water, drinks and towels are available in abundance. There is a rooftop bar (AGAR), which is nice but plays loud, somewhat outdated music, sound system also seem to be outdated and service needs to be improved. The food served in their restaurant and breakfast is adjusted more to the foreigners tastebuds and is missing typical local Solo flavors which makes solo food so unique. The breakfast is also very limited when it comes to local alternative All in all our stay was pleasant and relaxing, we would surely return next time when visiting Solo.

Some of the staff does not understand or speak english, though with a little effort it is possible to make your request be understood but training staff of basic english would really helpful. The room and the bathroom are somewhat dark (not enough lighting), the lights are not strategically placed e.g. it can be challenging to do makeup in the evening, lights around the mirror would be perfect

Great service, great location, and high quality standard all around.

I would have given it all 10s if it weren't for the water issues in the bathroom (faucet, shower, bidet). The water came out dark brown. But they fixed it quickly and gave me an option to change room. However I liked that room better. They apologized and gave complimentary fruits and cookies. A little suggestion, just make sure that water check is part of the housekeeping.

The food taste was awesome. The staffs were very polite and well educated. The service was great. The room itself very clean. The pool was very big and clean.

The lighting inside the room was quite dark, kinda difficult to find things & doing make up for dinner. There's an unpleasent smell from the sewer in the Alila suite bathroom. The pool's water was super cold. It would be nice if it's a little warmer. The coffee & tea services at Elite restaurant during breakfast time was bad, they offer my husband a glass of coffee, but until we've finished our breakfast the coffee didn't come at all. We keep call the waiter a few times but they keep didn't serve it, & it happens for 2 days in a row.

Exceptionally well managed high-end property, the best value for money I have encountered in Asia. My business requires frequent travel around Asia, and I know most of the high-end properties. Alila was truly outstanding. The warmth and kindness of the staff was unmatched. The food excellent, the service impeccable. Congratulatons from a usually very demanding hotel guest!

Working the aircon controls was beyond my modest intelligence

Valet Parking: Good valet service. Special thanks to Pak Bobby — he was exceptionally helpful and provided outstanding assistance throughout our stay.

Breakfast: Unfortunately, the breakfast was less exciting and did not meet our taste expectations. The food lacked flavor and could be improved.

The hotel is well-built and maintained. The interior reflects Alila's soul and looks elegantly modern. The staff members were really nice and attentive. The pool, gym and sauna facility were exceptional. The breakfast selection was comprehensive and delicious.

The soundproof was unexpectedly poor especially in the bath room. The lighting around the elevator area corridor was too low. For the amenities, we had to request for slippers.

Location is central on Slamet Riyadi Solo, close to everywhere, reception and staff are professional and provide a tourist places to visit, breakfast was plenty of foods and choices, our suite room also big and very comfortable with private pool in it.

The room was excellent, huge bathroom. Rooftop bar was a great place to enjoy a few beers and some food. Breakfast was exceptional. Staff attentive and super friendly. One of the best hotels I have stayed in ever, and I have travelled the World for the last 25 years.
