One of the best places to stay in Indonesia! If you visit Moluku islands, don't miss Aty's homestay! She is such a welcoming and lovely person! You feel at home immediately!  She lives in a big, nicely decorated house with well equipped rooms, a rooftop terrase with volcano views, strong wifi and cute cats.  She is so organized, can find you sight seeing tours, volcano guides, motor bikes or give you advice about timetables, restaurants or taxis. She speaks fluently English and has many stories to tell. She is a modern and independent Indonesian woman. When I had a problem with my ancle, she would give me a free ride from the harbour. She invited me for dinner at Fidul Itri and I could get to know many members of her nice family. It was a wonderful stay at Aty's house. A visit to Kota Ternate would not be complete without getting to know her! Thanks Aty, I will come back!

The Homestay is in a great location with shops, restaurants and most ports relatively nearby. The rooms are clean, comfortable and all facilities work. The breakfast is lovely and overall I had a great Homestay experience. What is exceptional is Aty, the owner. Aty has been, by far, the most helpful and precious person I’ve meant while traveling. She helped with all transports, future travels, accommodations, scooter and more. Truly a blessing.

Nothing I didn’t like but as a heads up, there are a lot of (cute) cats on the property.

Wow ! It was great. As a solo Australian, perfect trip. Tante helped me get a bike very easily, washing services just down the road, it also includes yummy breakfast! The AC was very handy as it gets pretty humid. Nice solid bed too ! Definitely recommend for travellers. This was my first homestay experience , I will definitely try more now.

This homestay thrives on Aty and her sweet mom. Aty is so helpful and has many contacts around the island. She provides a book with all the necessary details for some tourist activities. Aty invited me to a family lunch which was a very grateful experience for me. On top of that, she brought me to the airport early morning. She really wants to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible!

Though I am a cat lover, the cat smell was a bit overwhelming sometimes. Aty & Mom love their cats very much so I think it is a challenge to change that ;-) I was completely comfortable with a bucket shower (have done that a lot in India too), but if you're a Western tourist coming directly from your county, it might be a bit too much of a sudden change. In that case, book a different room which has a shower. My room had a fan, but it was difficult to keep it cool and let air in/out because otherwise cats and mosquitoes would get in the room too!

The deluxe room was large and spacious on the first floor of the Homestay along with a nice big bathroom and shower. The owner was very helpful and a pleasure to interact with. Overall for the money this is great value. There are a lot of cats who are quite friendly around the homestay. The neighbourhood is quiet and most restaurants etc. are a 15 minute walk away or a short grab ride away. You can also rent a scooter to explore the city.

The towels and bedsheets need to be of a better quality.

got the bigger room upstairs (for extra 100000/night) with aircon and away from the cats Aty is very nice, full of information and even goes out with her guests for dinner to the markets or some warun...

If you don't like cats (or are allergic like me) - don't go there or request a room upstairs, down in the kichen or living room you will have cats... Aty get's you from the airport, but it's not for free (1.12.23 it was 100000)

Rooms are new and cozy, really nice! The owner Is welcoming and helpful, one of the best places in Ternate! Breakfast included was delicious, they have coffee and tea during the day, best value for price!

Recommended place in Ternate! The ambiance was loving thanks to the host Ati :) she was super helpful with everything that you could need while staying there. She also rents out scooters which was very practical.

The stairs to the second floor might be a bit steep for some people and I think that the second floor holds so much more potential :)

The economy room is quite basic

The owner was very nice and helpful :) You can rent a motorbike there to explore Tidore/Ternate and she can bring you to/from the airport :) The homestay is well located, 15 walking from the center. In front of the room is a nice view on Tidore 😍
