This is the ideal place to be when you visit the Dieng Plateau. Getting there is an easy drive. You could rent cottages on the plateau, but you’ll be very much isolated. Kresna hotel is a beautiful colonial style hotel with many nice Dutch details, like beautiful wooden furniture, Delft Blue ceramics and stained glass windows. It’s situated in the heart of the bustling town of Wonosobo. You can go out and walk along the central square, the alun alun and enjoy the many food stalls and mix with the locals. The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean and the beds are good. The restaurant is beautiful to experience with a choice of western and Indonesian food. Breakfast is excellent. Workers in the hotel are courteous and sweet. There’s a nice swimming pooI In the close vicinity are many good restaurants.

The Indonesian food is a little too much adapted to western taste to my liking.

That it continues to be a Hotel with Great Historical significance, I was So Happy to stay there again after having stayed roughly 20 years ago!! The staff were absolutely Great, and one of the bar attendants was So nice about showing me around the hotel, and explaining the historical significance of furniture, photo's, paintings, and rooms!! Thank You!!

I think it is a wonderful old colonial hotel. But it needs a bit of care and attention . The hotel has absolutely a top potential . Als as an excellent base for tours to Bororobodur and Dieng plateau and or tea plantation. But it is not so actively promoting this . Also the staff could be more proactive and more involved. When you ask something they are friendly nut not knowledgeable or go the extra mile to be pro-active

I did not like that the hotel needed some easy visual maintenance. There were bad quality sunbeams , no sun umbral which made the pool red not attractive. The head part of the end (apparently in all rooms ) is dirty . The hotels needs a lift in looks and maintenance. Staff needs to be trained to geust experience 2025

When we check in they said all room no television and air conditions on maintenance. So they ask for extra Rp 100.000,- per room. Total Rp 200.000,- This never happened ever in my entire life, specially when I booked through booking.com
