We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel della Piana and were truly impressed. This is a place designed for relaxation, where every detail is thoughtfully curated with care and dedication. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and impeccably clean. A special mention goes to the pool area and the beautifully maintained landscaping — a peaceful corner ideal for unwinding. The breakfast buffet is excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options to suit all tastes. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect for exploring charming nearby mountain villages such as Tagliacozzo, Celano, and Ovindoli — all ideal for day trips and discovering the natural beauty of the Abruzzo region. A heartfelt round of applause goes to the owners, who are always present and in close contact with their guests, making the stay even more special. Thank you for the warm hospitality — we will definitely be back!

The staff was very nice. At our arrival, the receptionist responded kindly to our demand and found a bigger room for us, farther from the street, at only very moderate surcharge. In the breakfast room, Angela was extremely nice, fulfilled every our wish, for instance, on our request she changed immediately the omnipresent "lounge music" (that we found quite dull) to music corresponding to our wish. The windows of our room were completely sound-proof so that no noise from the street could be heard. The breakfast was very rich. The reception was very helpful with advice about possibilities to make trips, booking a taxi etc.

The "lounge music", playing inside and sometimes outside by default (except when Angela was nice enough to change it according to our wish, see above) seemed to us more suited for a shopping centre than for a distinguished establishment such as Hotel Della PIana. At the swimming pool, where people would generally prefer to be kept quiet, I find that broadcasting music is counterproductive anyway.

Very comfortable Hotel on the edge of town. Spacious room / bathroom with exceptionally comfortable bed. Ideal for a one night stopover when travelling. Excellent breakfast buffet, overseen by an efficient and very cheerful lady!

An on site restaurant for the evening would be nice although there are numerous restaurants within a very short distance. As the Hotel is situated on a busy main road with limited pavements however you really need to drive somewhere for dinner.

We had a fantastic stay in Hotel della Piana. We stayed for 12 days at the hotel. The hotel is very good situated to visit Abruzzo. You are in the middle of all the National Parks and in 1 hour you are on the sea side. The people of the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. They have some nice rooms, which were always clean. Also the breakfast is huge and very good. Their restaurant Napoleone is also recommended. Top hotel, many thanks to all people working there.

Nothing, except there was an issue with the Wifi in our building, the last days.

Breakfast was excellent.

I was surprised by the location which was more urban than I expected. There was a major design error when site plan was created. Buildings should have been set back further from property line to accommodate car access and parking. Very few dining options in the area so would have been nice if restaurant was open for dinner.

1st morning breakfast not much left no juice, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, and was only 9.30 . I feel if breakfast is from 7-10.30 there should be every thing still available.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was spacious and spotless. Exceptional spacious bathroom with a large and well designed shower. Good room facilities with Android TV. The pool looked nice though we didn't get a chance to swim in it.

Returning later in the evening made it difficult to find a parking spot but the restaurant next door had spaces further away. A coffee machine in the room would have been a nice touch.

The hotel was much nicer than we expected and better than what shows on the pictures. The room was clean and neat and had a good shower. We checked in very late at night but there was still someone at the desk who was nice and welcoming. Very recommended and at a good price.

The best hotel we had in our trip! The crew is amazing! treated us like family! all the staff are very smiley and helpful, the receptionist Jovana was incredibly nice, always greeting us with a big smile , she helped us with EVERYTHING starting with making us a tour map in google maps according to our preferences, she helped us to find restaurants, and much much more! The owner Lorenzo was also so nice and helped us with everything we needed (for example we had a problem with a ticket we needed Italian for and he helped us with a smile). also the breakfast was good and the waitress ordered food especially for everyone who asks. The rooms are big and the bed was very comfortable and there is a lot of free parking. Incredible hotel. we will be back for sure!

This new hotel is well appointed and has a great pool. There is secure parking onsite and the breakfast has a good range of options.

We really struggle with the air-conditioning issues in Italy and it never seems to be cool enough or is centrally controlled by the hotel, we carry our own small fan to assist our comfort.
