The location is amazing - right across from the main piazza, overlooking the castle and the cathedral. You will not find a more central location.

It is just a reminder. Due to its central location, the nearby bars and the general crowds around will linger until past midnight, so those who are planning for an early evening sleep must be prepared.

On our tour in Southern Italy, the best positive surprise was Barletta and the Mare Versus Luxury Suites. It is always easier to describe what was not good. The only challenges were with parking and breakfast, but this was minimal. The suites are in located in a pedestrian zone in the old city, so parking will be a challenge, of course. However, there was more than enough street parking for unloading and loading the car on arrival and departure (This street is closed to traffic in the evening). So, if you are driving and want secured overnight parking, I suggest letting Anna Maria know beforehand. The advantage of having a suite of rooms in the pedestrian zone far outweighs the short walk to the parking facility. The surprise mentioned above was the lively old city. We were not expecting this. There are many restaurants, bars and shops within minutes of the suites and the streets were full of people enjoying themselves in the pedestrian zone. The bars and restaurants were full, but not so full that we couldn't get a table. The variety was also surprising. It was a good mix of locals and students and not only tourists. The city has done a great job creating this charming environment and the Suites are well situated within it. They are part of this charm. Anna Maria was helpful and engaged. Her personal care comes through obviously in the detail of how she has set up the suites. They are very comfortable and the quality is great.

See above... There is not much to complain about. We had a lovely stay. The batteries in the television remote control were nearly spent and we didn't notice any spares. So, if this is the only complaint, and it is only worth mentioning to make the point that everything was good quality down into the details, I think you can expect a pleasant positive experience should you book.

Great location, thoughtfully organised and designed

Very nicely decorated appartement in the beautiful village Barletta. What a great atmosphere with a nice style of decoration. We had the luxury room with big terras and whirlpool, recommended as there are 2 bars right below and this room was on the 2nd floor, so still quite some privacy. Wifi is very good and shower also great, comfort is what you get here.

The breakfast is very minimal, only a croissant and coffee + a juice, so dont expect much. The whirlpool/hottub is quite old and not functioning well, there are hardly bubbles coming out. A little disappointment so I hope this will be changed in the future to a better one. But the rest of the place is very good.

The breakfast was limited. Clients could be better served by giving them a coupon to a local cafe.

The apartment is beautiful perfectly located. We best part is the terrace, spacious, beautiful view, with a large bath/jacuzzi perfect for two people.

The apartment is very noisy, on top of quite a few bars so don't expect to sleep before late. The manager of bar opened the apartment for us and we left the key on the desk so we didn't see any staff. The breakfast was supposed to be included. But when we went out to the bar next door with our ticket but it was closed so we never got the breakfast.
