The space, the calm, the greenery.

The distance is an easy walk for active hosts, but for elderly visitors it can be quite challenging to walk down to the village and back in the heat, sometimes more than once a day. This is less of an issue for those with a car or who are comfortable biking. The village could consider offering a shuttle service, for a fee, to make outings and visits to Elba’s points of interest more accessible.

Comfortable bedrooms with enough space for storing clothes. Lovely terrace with table, chairs, deckchairs and drying rack to hang out beach clothes - perfect for enjoying afternoons and evenings with geckos for company. Good swimming pool, never too busy. Good coffee every morning from the bar.

Tiny (but perfectly functional) showers. No dishwasher, which caused untold hardship for the kids who had to wash up. Wifi signal weak at times, but we carry a travel router for just such occasions.

Lovely location if a little far from Marino Di Campo but it was great to have the option to hire bikes. Comiplimentary breakfast was very appreciated. Basic supplies provided - soap, shower gel, washing up liquid, sponge, cloth. Clothes washing facilities on site would have been an advantage. Use of pool was great and we were able to use it on the day of our departure after checking out which we were very grateful for. We were able to store our luggage and staff also were very helpful arranging our taxi to the other side of the island.

Kitchen was a little small and the shower doors were broken.

Nice collection of private apartments in a quiet location. Close enough to town to walk but far enough away to not feel busy. Very nice pool, bar and grounds with space for children to run around. Friendly staff and good communication. Free air con!

The choice of breakfast was limited, although we were given a voucher for one free breakfast each which was a bonus. It would have been nice if the pool was open past 8pm. The kitchen was fairly well equipped but missing a few things like bowls and wine glasses.

The snack bar is limited to sandwiches and melts and breakfast options are very limited.

Very calm property surrounded by pine trees. Spacious appartments, clean with necessary commodities. Despite no AC in the room we were never suffering from heat. Very close from Marina di campo. Staff very helpful and understanding.

The rooms could use a bit of refurbishment. The place surrounding is quiet but if you get noisy neighbor then you'll hear everything.

Pool was lovely and never too busy. Nice outdoor space at appartments with seating, table and deck chairs - also useful to have somewhere to hang wet swimming clothes and towels. Very friendly staff. More relaxing and a lot quieter to be slightly further out from main town (about a 20min walk or 2min drive).
