Mostly great.

On the final day of our third stay at Masserai Stali, on checking out I asked if we could wait by the pool for a couple of hours as our flight home wasn't until later int the evening. To my immense surprise, despite the member of staff knowing that this was our third time staying, he frowned and said that we'd have to pay for an umbrella. We'd stayed at another masseria and two palazzi earlier in our trip and in both cases, the hosts had said that should we wish, we would be welcome to stay by the pool after checking out - we had no need to but appreciated the kind offer. I explained that we just wanted to sit at a table in the pool bar and read our books and the staff member reluctantly relented and said we could wait. We won't be coming back.

Our stay at Masseria Stali in was nothing short of extraordinary. We spent two nights in this beautifully restored farmhouse, and everything from the ambiance to the hospitality was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness by the staff. The hosts were incredibly attentive, ensuring we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Their passion for the property and dedication to providing an exceptional experience was evident in every detail. The masseria itself is a stunning blend of traditional architecture and modern comfort. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with local touches that gave it a unique character. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The communal areas of the masseria were equally impressive. The garden and pool area were perfect for relaxation, surrounded by olive trees and the peaceful sounds of nature. We enjoyed leisurely afternoons by the pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquility. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring a variety of local and homemade products. The fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, and traditional Italian coffee were the perfect start to our day. We also had the opportunity to dine at the masseria's restaurant , where we enjoyed an exquisite meal prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The flavors were incredible, and the wine selection was excellent. The location of the masseria is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. We took short trips to nearby towns and attractions, enjoying the rich history and culture of the region. The staff provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and were always on hand to assist with any arrangements. In summary, our stay at Masseria Stali was perfect in every way.

We loved the room, spacious and modern with perfectly working air conditioning and daily cleaning. The courtyard is lovely and each room has its own outdoor furniture. Each room is also equipped with clothes rack so you can dry your pool towels - that was super useful. The pool was very nice and spa offer good and good value for money. Good pool bar options for lunch!

My suggestion would be to have more veggies at breakfast buffet, otherwise the buffet was good and there was also a possibility to have eggs and bacon or omelette.

Everything was perfect! The room, the breakfast, and the pool! Besides, the staff made our stay even more special. Everyone was very kind, professional, and always ready to help. They are very passionate about their job, and as a guest you feel it. Thanks for the amazing days and see you soon!!

Fabulous pool area with plenty of shade and sun. Nice pool bar for lunch. Typically Italian breakfast - a lot of sweet things, cakes and the best chocolate croissants, also cheese, hard-boiled eggs and sliced meats. Lots of hanging space and drawers, a desk, and small fridge. Spacious bathroom. lots of mirrors, and shelves. The village of Caprarica is in easy walking distance, along lit roads.

Very small things, and easily fixed.

The location was perfect for daily trips mostly to Lecce. Breakfast was nice but more variety would have been appreciated. Staff were excellent .

We thought the evening meal was a little disappointing and overpriced. We discovered a little Osteria in the nearby village which we thought was better in terms of quality and value.

the only thing I didn’t like and needs to be replaced are the sun loungers near the pool, they were unstable and some were broken

Respecting the environment everything is made to offer peace and pleasure! Big nice rooms, excellent breakfast and dinners. Kind and helpful staff.

The hotel is perfect for a holiday. The breakfast is great. The staff is great. They helped us when needed. The housekeeping services are also great. There were everything we needed.

The only unconfirmatble thing is that the door for the bathroom is glass door and does not isolate the noise at all. Everything can be heard.

Beautiful property , bedrooms large , room cleaned every day , towels changed everyday , beautiful pool area , very clean , staff so helpful and pleasant .
