The minute you enter the convent everything becomes calm. Located high on a hill there’s a beautiful view of the winery and city below from a huge terrace that runs the length of the building. The rooms are the renovated cells of the Friars. Extremely clean, charming ,comfortable and spacious. The bed was comfortable, nice sheets, quiet nights. Breakfast was a fresh buffet served on the terrace, weather permitting. This is a very special experience, a great place to take a break and relax. I would love to return.

A very special place. Beautiful, meticulously restored 14th century convent, in a unique location on a vineyards covered mountain overlooking the Pianura Padana. PURE MAGIC ! Even if we wouldn't stayed here, it's definitely worth a detour for a visit (...and the options of beautiful places in that part of italy is very high !). And said location, although seemingly isolated from modern civilization, is surprisingly very convenient with many great restaurants within a minutes drive. (The old cobblestone path down & up the mountain is also beautiful...) We were fortunate to get an upgrade to the suite, which was spacious & very comfortable, with a door to the amazing loggia with magnificent views. The breakfast was great with high quality products. There is no coffee machine in the room, but it's not a problem as there's high quality machines in the dining room with 24h access. Fabiana who manages the place (admirably almost single handedly) was super friendly and helpful & also charming Davide who greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the convent. Highly recommended if you seek unforgettable experience !

It's a convent, on the last hill before the Po flat lands, what can be wrong? The views and surroundings are beyond stunning! Take an hour in the library and dive into mid-20th century catholic teachings and reflections. Sit on the terrace and just enjoy the stunning view, or explore the halls, worn and polished over centuries. It's simply a gem!

If you order take-away for dinner, since it is a stroll and a half to any restaurants, make sure to specify you're at the convent, the address can be a little confusing it seems...

A beautiful spot in the Franciacorta hills. Built in the late 15th century (though some parts are older) this former monastery was completely renovated in the past decade. This means the rooms are brand new with a tasteful interior, blending the old and the new. The best part of the hotel is the magnificent view from the enormous balcony and the peace and quiet you experience. Staff were really friendly and helpful. A buffet breakfast is served every morning.

Couldn't rate this any higher. A truly remarkable location if you like to unwind.

Beyond all expectations- this place was magical. Beautiful and clean rooms, amazing property/view and super friendly staff who went above and beyond to greet us (even though we were super late and delayed). Such an old building, but still so fresh!

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! (Also the road up is very narrow and bumpy so be careful when driving)

It was truly an unique experience to stay overnight in the ex-convent. It is only several minutes from city center, yet It is so quiet and peaceful. There was even soft smell of incense in the corridors. Davide kindly took us to the basement wine cellar.

The stay was beyond any expectations. The vibe and views are exceptional. There were just a couple of guests, so we were almost alone in an old convent. The room was well equipped and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

location is amazing and full of positive energy. we are talking about a monastery from the 15th century, converted in hotel, but keeping the original spirit and facilities. In the basement there is still the winery and a wine shop managed by one of the most famous Franciacorta producer. one more thing: Davide walks you inside the abbey explaining everything with lots of interesting details.

It is an acting monastery with a part of it turned into a 5 star hotel. It has indeed all the 5 star hotel facilities and beyond. Beautifuly arranged rooms, everything with your comfort in mind, spacious, clean, without this old lady smell anywhere. The breakfast is very good, the reception lady is extremely friendly and sweet. And the View! The view is amazing as is the terrace. They also might have the fastest internet in Italy. Anyway, don't think twice booking this facility.
