it’s a special, wild romantic location. typical regional Style and establishment. very personal and individual. nothing for people who need luxury. the hosts are very friendly and attentive. they care for their guests. they have waited over 2 hours for us, as we were terribly delayed by traffic jam

a few things like quality of mattress, fridge in the room and breakfast have been discussed with the hosts and expected to be solved soon.

Alex and his mother were very welcoming. We spent a good time in Contraguerra and had fun moments. It's a beautiful place to stay. See you soon.

Out of the 40-50 BnBs that we have stayed in during our 3 years in Italy this one was the most unclean. There was plenty of hair in the shower, at least 30 flies on the walls and ceiling, stains on the walls, and specks of something on our pillows and sheets. The room really needed a good clean and didn't seem prepared for guests at all. It's really a pity because the owners are very sweet and the landscape is beautiful. Needs some work and a good clean before the next guests.
