Enna is not a top destination, which is one of the reasons I really liked the city; it offers a good sense of real Sicilian life, not what tourists usually see. B&B Proserpina is centrally located and it's easy to walk everywhere. The small rooms were fine—clean, and pretty quiet (except if you're on the street, as my friend was). The owners have a restaurant, Bistro Paradiso, a few minutes walk from the B&B; the food is very good and it has a lovely garden. We particularly liked the father of the sister and brother who run the place, and the young woman who serves breakfast. Two great places for aperitivo: Al Kenisa, a literary cafe a deconstructed church (with a catacomb you can visit), and Bar Delizia on the delightful Piazza Duomo. Both are a short walk from Proserpina. Enna is also a great location for an excursion to the wonderful Villa Romana del Casale (a trip highlight) in Piazza Amerina, about 30 minutes drive by car. Free parking is plentiful in Enna and if I had known that we wouldn't have taken the overnight parking in a lot about ten minutes walk from the B&B. It is a literal a hell hole and extremely hard to navigate—it took us half an hour to get out of the place.

Lovely place, perfect location, right in the center of town. The rooms are small but comfortable and the air conditioning is good. There is an elevator for some of the rooms. They offer a big breakfast, though it's not included (so not precisely a bed and breakfast). The family that owns the hotel has a restaurant close by and it's very good! Enna is a wonderful town and not touristy at all; you get a good sense of actual Sicilian life.

We had two rooms: The one on the street was noisy, the one in the back was perfectly quiet. If you go, park on the street because the parking lot offered is horrible and very hard to get into and out of. There was plenty of street parking when we were there in June. Also: I wish that there had been someone at the hotel who could have offered ideas for off-the-beaten track things to do, but when we arrived we got a very rushed intro to the city. Unfortunately, this is the way of small hotels now; everything is WhatsApp. At least were were greeted by an actual person!

A beautiful family run B&B with lots of character, in the centre of Enna. We had a fantastic room and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast room is an amazing area, almost like an underground cave, and there is a very good breakfast selection. It was a perfect base for exploring Enna and the surrounding area. The family also run a restaurant where we had our evening meal, which was absolutely delicious! All in all, this was a perfect stay, and we will definitely be back again!

Staff was super friendly, we could store the bikes safely in their garage and the location couldn’t be better! For 5 extra euros you can have a really good breakfast, perfect to continue with our bike ride. 3 minutes away from the Hotel there are really good view of the entire valley and the Etna!

Such a lovely, welcoming feel to the common spaces, with lots of exposed stone and lovely decorations. It made breakfast extra special, which we also enjoyed. The rooms are comfortable and cosy, which we were always happy to come back to after a long day of exploring. Great location, walking distance from everything - and we were glad we booked (and paid for) garage space to be car-free during our stay. Despite a general lack of common language, our hosts were helpful, and we also enjoyed eating at their restaurant, Bistrò Paradiso. It was also the only place we stayed with a kettle and tea in the room, which we really appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay here, nothing not to like. The showers were a little small in some rooms (not uncommon), but the bathroom was still user-friendly.

My non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarettes. And, for us, the heating at night was too high to sleep comfortably. Both of those situations were helped by opening the windows, however, so not too serious a problem.

We could not be happier with our stay here. The building is so charming, our room was comfortable, and Laura and her parents were so wonderful. Not only did Laura provide info on the town, but she also expertly guided us to a garage to park our car. Finally, Laura’s family’s restaurant is a must if you are looking for a great meal!

Friendly owners who recommended the family restaurant nearby, where we ate in the evening. Good location in the centre of the town with (paid) parking available in the square. We left for the airport early in the morning so didn't stay for breakfast.

Really friendly welcome from Fabricio on our last night in Sicily. We welcomed the cool stone rooms given the heat of the day. Decent shower, towels and spacious cool room. Fabricio recommended his family's restaurant, Bistro Paradiso, which we went to. You must go, it's got an amazing secret garden and the food was great. Local produce and fresh fruit on breakfast (we didn't get this everywhere). Cute breakfast room that I'm sure you could lounge in.

We loved staying here - the rooms have lots of character and you can really appreciate the history of the town. The staff were very nice and let us keep our bikes indoors, as we were doing the Sicily Divise trail. We would stay here again
