The family could not have been more helpful and their friend Antonio was a really reliable driver. The local buses were totally unreliable so we used Antonio regularly and he always arrived on time. Ciro spoke good English and gave us some helpful advice. Our first night he drove us to a restaurant as the one in walking distance (the excellent Osteria Dante) was closed. His mother made delicious breakfasts, with a choice of sweet or savoury. The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of hot water. Nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of space for parking if you had your own car.

The unreliable buses meant we needed a lift up or down to the train station as we had opted not to hire a car and to stay somewhere quieter than the middle of town.

Amazing property. I found the location to work really well to travel to Pompeii and Napoli. The hosts were always accommodating, and gave lots of information on the area. The breakfast was also delicious. The only thing to keep in mind if you don’t have a car is the busses, as others have mentioned aren’t reliable, I ended up mostly walking to and from Ercolano station to get places, but alternatively they have a friend who does a shuttle service for 10€, which I used when leaving. Overall, highly recommend

Everything was easy and the view was outstanding. The host was 100%, which actually made the trip. I got fantastic advice on where to buy what I wanted and the restaurant recommendation was perfect. This experience show that the great property is one thing, but also having a host who was willing to help/assist/recommend the right things in a town where I knew nothing. Example, I asked for a great steakhouse. I got recommended an amazing steakhouse which was awesome, but also got how/where to park for the restaurant, that was the above and beyond that made it so special.. Thank you :-)

Nothing, came to relax and the property truly allowed it

Rossella and her mother were wonderful hosts. The view from the balcony (we had the Green Room) up to Vesuvius were simply superb. Breakfast was amazing (thanks to Rossella’s mum). Very clean facilities.

TV in bedroom did not work - a minor thing as we didn’t really want to watch it. The conversion is small - fine for us, but not if you are looking for space… but terrific value for money.

Rossella was a very kind and welcoming host. She was flexible with our relatively late arrival, which we really appreciated. The room was lovely and well equipped. What stood out the most was the bed — it was incredibly comfortable (we’re still talking about it!). Everything was great, even though we only stayed for one night while passing through. Nevertheless, we would definitely recommend this place.

Bella 'Mbriana Is located a short distance from the Herculaneum train station, at the base of Vesuvius with a great view. The place itself is well done, and the host was extremely helpful. We got in late one night at the train station and no taxi or rideshare app was working - he answered quickly over Whatsapp and came to pick us up. He also offered taxi options through a contact of his, highly recommended since the taxi experience in the Naples area borders on extortion. It's great to have help from locals like Bella Mbriana when you're there.

Our entire experience was amazing. The rooms were clean and very nice, and the view was amazing. The service we received was beyond what was expected. Anything we asked for was accommodated as best as possible. Breakfast was always great, the food was delicious.

I have no complaints about our stay here.

The room and locations were really nice, and Ciro was a really good host and gave us very good recommendations for dinner. You can also park your car in front of the house which is a really good amenity.

Breakfast: we would have appreciated that there was some savory breakfast together with the pastries. Room: the room was great in space, but it was cold, and the AC couldn't really warm it up.

The hotel was very close to Vesuvius. We liked the quirkiness of the room. but it had its drawbacks - see below

A spiral staircase to reach the bedroom, with the en-suite bathroom on the floor below would not be suitable for everyone. We asked specifically for cereal for breakfast but didn't get any, and there were no tea bags: only coffee was provided.

The host is really kind and helpful. Chino gave us info about the area and what we can do. The breakfast that his mother prepared was tasty. There were 2 options savory and sweet. We chose the sweet. The room was clean and spacious. There is a mini fridge in the room also. There was also available parking.
