I think this place is a great value for money. We really enjoyed the spa area, except for the pool. Our apartment wasn’t huge, but even our group of 7 adults felt comfortable there.

The kitchen was a bit too small, without an oven and just with a small fridge. Considering that the room was meant for 8 people - this was a bit limiting. It was also missing some basic items like a dish soap and a sponge that you won’t consider bringing for a weekend trip. I would also say that this hotel is rather a place for family vacations, rather than for a group of adults.

The room was spacious and very clean, with great views of the mountains from both sides. There were only a few guests, so the pool and sauna were not crowded and both were in good condition. There are hiking trails right at the door, and the breakfast was good enough. The city center is in walking distance. Very quiet and calm, with no roads at the door. A very well-fitted kitchen.

There was no chance to have a substantial dinner at the venue, but also we didn't like eating in several places in the city, My wife didn't like that there was a power line support right in the yard.

This property is absolutely gorgeous with a kids park, play space, pool, games area and onsite restaurant. The views are spectacular and the rooms are exactly as described. The sauna area is lovely and the ability to take bikes out (with kid seats on the back) was so special. The hiking and mountain biking in the area is limitless and breathtaking. We had a car but you can get around by train/bike to different starting locations without a problem. I would recommend this to ANY family.

I wish the hot tub/sauna area was open a little later (9-10pm) so I could enjoy the facilities after my child went to sleep.

Very nice territory on the middle of Apple yards. Own spa with sauna and swimming pool, kids playground, zone for bbq, table tennis and free bike to ride around the valley. Owned by a family. Nice breakfast and dinners per request. Rooms are modern and include all needed for cooking. Excellent to stay for several days. Restaurant s around and a good grocery as well. Hotel gives you a valley card, so you can use public transport and some of the cable cars for free or with huge discount. Defenetly 10 out of 10.

This was an amazing place, run to perfection by the family and staff, how they were able to keep such a big place spotless I don't know, I was travelling on my own with a child, and while there was a slight problem with the initial booking, they rectified it and ensured I was at no loss. I felt looked after here, as it can be difficult travelling on your own with children, the full week was exactly what I needed, amazing breakfast, welcoming and beautiful souls who work there, who made every aspect on our trip one to remember. The location is beautiful, new apartments are being built, this was not noisy or invasive, you didn't notice it, and clearly testament to how well they are doing. The team that work there are what gives this beautiful place that extra spark, I will dearly miss it and certainly never forget!!

Absolutely no nothing.

It was a beautiful place organized by super friendly and helpful people. We felt very comfortable. We loved the fact that we could borrow bikes and very much enjoyed the sauna an pool outside in the garden. Great drinks at night at very fair prices. Beautiful area to hike and travel around.

The stairs were a bit tricky for me to manage. I was alone with children and struggled a bit carrying 2 heavy suitcases upstairs to the 3rd floor.

Excellent location, nice kids playground, kids zone in the restaurant, excellent SPA with a pool, 3 saunas, 3 jacuzzis and steam bath. Top location for families with kids.

On some beds the mattress was softer in the middle part, probably by the wear. It's not an issue for most of the people, but when you have back problems, you may feel it. But this is really a small issue compared to all pluses.

Set among the apple orchards on the outskirts of Latsch, Residence Montani is a wonderful place to spend a vacation exploring the Vinschgau valley. Well away from the main roads, it is a peaceful place by day and night. The maze of quiet little roads around the orchards are a delight for an evening stroll and safe for families with young children to cycle. The residence caters well for many guests from groups of mountain bikers to young families. Especially young families. The hostess Karoline has gone out of her way to provide all manner of entertainment for young children, all in a safe, enclosed environment. The residence offers free bike hire and the pool, whilst not large enough for fitness swimming, is still big enough to swim in. We had a room in an older part of the residence but was perfect for us. Large, clean, huge double bed, little kitchenette. The village centre and various supermarkets are a few minutes walk away. I would say Latsch is more geared for mounting biking than hiking, with many downhill bike runs. However the hiking is still excellent. There's a cable car one side of the valley and a chair lift on the other. Credit to the hostess Karoline who is so kind and helpful, for a wonderful holiday. Below are some nice places we visited in the wider Vinschgau valley during our stay. Tscharser Waalweg / Stabner Waalweg To avoid the climb, park near Sonnenhof and just walk Tscharser Waalweg Zufrittsee – Martelltal Very nice easy walk around one half of an attractive lake. Spectacular dam at far end. Vernagt am See - Schnalstal 7km walk around the lake. Adventure park with zipline across part of lake. Martelltal End of valley. Haven for walkers. Stunning views of snow-capped peaks. Many walks to suit all abilities. Reschensee Iconic lake. 15km asphalt traffic free. Hasenohrl (3257m) Path 2 from Latscher Alm. Final ridge is exciting with some mild scrambling and fixed ropes. Zerminiger Spitze (3109m): Fabulous mountain walk.

Very nice equipment for children (playground, babyfoot, ping pong table, playroom, swimming) and for adults as well! (Spa, whirlpool, garden, bbq place), really great, fantastic breakfast with local cheese and ham, lots of fresh fruits, delicious variety of bread), beautiful surroundings… can’t recommend enough!

Beds not so confortable… maybe time to replace the mattress? Welcome coffee and tea in the room would be appreciated
