Hotel Marina was a lovely place to stay, it is small and personable, we were delighted to meet Maria Luisa, she is a lovely lady and the perfect host, we had our dog with us and she loved to see Maria Luisa! There was adequate parking, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was huge, varied and delicious, as was the coffee and the wine! The location was perfect, it was a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach and the many wonderful restaurants along the promenade, every night we walked to the promenade for dinner. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and have a drink and watch the world go by. Marina de Massa is a lovely place, we look forward to visiting again!

We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking some gardens. Big enough to sit in and chill with a glass or two of something. Room was a good size and we were able to have both suitcases open without too much space being taken up. Breakfast served either in restaurant area or in garden and there was a good choice available including hot egg dishes. Excellent coffee! The evening meal was a choice of meat or fish and we choose fish. Portions were great and everything was very tasty. Although the hotel did not have its own beach it does have special arrangements with one and we were well looked after. Parking in the hotel grounds was easy.

The air conditioning did not work at all on cooling ... more recirculating the air in the room. Which resulted in having to sleep with the door open to the room, which by default brought mosquitoes which were destructive. The system is probably old and no longer works ... so a minus for lack of air conditioning and insect netting.

Really great stay. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, 2 min walk from a beautiful beach. Staff is friendly, room is comfortable, everything works as expected. Once again, you cannot go wrong with this hotel. Bonus: nice patio outside of the hotel where you can relax.

Very short walk to the beach but a longer than expected walk to the main area where shops, bars and restaurants are located.

Not enough clothes hangers in wardrobe, no storage drawers and aircon kept going off making the room very stuffy. Carpark small for size of hotel and very tight to turn in

The location is good, about 500 m to the beach. Many places to eat are close to the hotel

Isolation between rooms is not so solid, but guests were quiet during the night and we slept well

Staff is super friendly. Good breakfast with good variety of food including delicious omelet. The hotel has a nice garden in front of. Pet friendly, very important f you have a dog Hotel is walking distance to the beach, also to public beach Nice balcony directly to the garden.

This is an unusual building with high ceilings and lots of brick in an almost mid century modern style. Our room was modern and very clean and had a nice balcony. Breakfast was exceptional with a big variety of options including eggs made to order. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff, very helpful and even my racing bike was allowed in my room. Breakfast had the choice of everything and everyday there were fresh new cakes.
