We had a large apartment at Villa Gremi with a fantastic view of the old town of Monforte d'Alba. Carola, who handles reception was very friendly and helpful, and even stayed late the day of our arrival because we were stuck in a major traffic problem in southern Italy. She made us restaurant reservations and had lots of recommendations for things to do and places to visit. The apartment was beautifully laid out, with a living area, well stocked kitchen, and a large bedroom. The location is amazing, an easy walk into Monforte, with its historic charm and many restaurants, and an easy drive around the Barolo and Alba regions.

The view from the penthouse was wonderful and the facilities were clean and in good condition. The breakfast tray was versatile.

We stayed as a family. The soundproofing of the apartment was not the best possible, when children make noise. I wouldn't call the place child friendly. There is a driveway right in front of the main door, so you have to be very careful. The pool area is small and water from the pool easily splashes onto the sunbeds and this may annoy other people. It felt like we had to tell children all the time, don't run, don't talk too loudly, don't splash water in the pool, etc., so that we don't disturb other guests.

We travel regularly, and rarely do properties seem to get everything right, but Villa Gremi managed it. The property is clean, well located, has kind staff, and generous snacks/minibar included in the rate. The housekeeping was impeccable and the (generous) snack basket and refrigerator was restocked daily, including with local meats and freshly-baked pastry. The rooms are spacious, clean, and private. The town is charming and has great amenities, with some of the best wineries in the area located within a few hundred meters.

Villa Gremì was a wonderful place to stay. The property was quite new and beautifully done! Everything was clean inside and out, the pool is heated and the pool area very inviting to hang out and enjoy the sun. The apartment is tastefully decorated and cleaned daily if wanted. On top on the daily cleaning you are provided with daily breakfast essentials like fruit, Joghurt, muesli etc. which is quite nice. Our host Carola was incredible. Not only did she send us detailed information on how to manage check in when no one is there but she is also very knowledgeable about the area and incredibly helpful in organizing anything from booking a table at a restaurant to renting a Vespa for a day. We felt very welcomed and could ask her for anything which was just amazing. Overall we would highly recommend Villa Gremì and will most certainly come back another time.

Villa Gremi was one of our favourite places to stay during our three and a half week visit to Italy. The concept of having your own apartment with breakfast items provided and daily housekeeping in a boutique-like structure, is unique and one we much appreciated. The apartment is elegant, spacious and well-appointed. The swimming pool is in a beautiful, private area with chic furniture, and is larger than it appears in the photos. The staff is professional and caring, always available by phone or on the premises in the morning and late afternoon. We loved the location high up in Monforte d'Alba which is a charming town with numerous dining options. We anticipate a return in the future!

Beautiful, clean villa with a lovely array of breakfast treats including local pastries, cheese and meat. The frig was stocked daily with milk, water and yogurt as well as coffe for the espresso machine. Carola greeted us warmly, explained about the facility and helped to get us dinner reservations. They provide a recommended list. Excellent location for touring wineries, local restaurants and an easy day trip on beautiful back roads to Canelli.

Everything was perfect. The building is new and very clean. The staff were friendly and check-in via the code was easy. They offered to help us with reservations in case we needed it and there was information about the area in the room. The items left for breakfast completely exceeded my expectations. The location is above Monforte, so close enough to do everything easily on foot but away from the noise. We didn't try the pool but it looked very clean and well maintained. Wifi was reliable and fast - we were able to do a "work from home" day in the apartment with no issues.

We had a lovely stay a Villa Gremì. The appartment was bright and clean with minimalistic decoration - perfect for a family with kids age 2 and 5. Big balcony with a beautiful view over the city. There was thourough house cleaning and refill of breakfast every day. Carola was a very friendly, helpful and welcoming host. Perfect for a family stay - we hope to come back.

Fabulous location with great views! Property was only a couple years old, so everything was in great shape. It was very comfortable, and a welcome reprieve from hotels. We stayed for 7 nights & cooked dinner 4 nights. Loved, loved the welcome basket stocked with basics, and fridge contained yogurts, juice, milk & waters. Even a chocolate cake for dessert! And the food even got replenished every couple of days! Didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice.

Nothing to complain about at all.

It was great to have private parking onsite and be able to walk into the village to a great selection of restaurants. Nice views, and the swimming pool was great to return to after a hot day out touring.
