The private beach set up is ideal, we cycled (free bike hire from the hotel) to another beach to check it out and it was so busy we cycled straight back again to our beach. We seemed to be the only hotel around with this private beach situation and others were either sitting on the uncomfortable rocks or at the crowded sandy beach. The pool is decent and it wasn’t overly busy even though it was the summer holidays, staff are really helpful and friendly as well. Drinks are good too. Because we stayed for 5 nights we got a spa experience for free which was a nice touch although the beach and the pool area are so nice and the weather was excellent we didn’t really need to do this.

The location is really great, you can walk to loads of restaurants and I have no complaints about the hotel whatsoever. The only thing to note is about the area in general. We were expecting really amazing wine and food at the local restaurants but it doesn’t really seem to be the right area if this is what you’re after. The food was decent it just wasn’t what we expected and we just thought naively the wine would be incredible. I think based on others I’ve spoken to, Puglia doesn’t have the best food or the best wine compared to other areas of Italy. Not sure if this is factually correct but this was just our experience.

The location was beautiful, we truly loved spending our days on the lido deck by the water or by the pool. The staff was great, especially in the reception! We had lunch brought out to the pool or beach all three days which was very much appreciated (easy to order and the food was good). On our last night there was a party thrown that you could pay 50 euro to take part in and it was worth it, a very nice buffet on the roof of the hotel with the beautiful sunset while a great live band was playing.

Unfortunately none of us had balconies, even our friends who had the "Comfort room", so we couldn't hang out all together in any of the rooms, there weren't enough seating for four people. A few of the breakfast staff didn't speak english which made ordering coffee and other things harder. We couldn't get our rain shower in the bathroom to work, not in either of the two rooms.

its location is superb between two very pretty Italian beach villages. perfect. its lido and pool we’re just lovely and even beach towels were provided. Hotel felt very chic. Staff were wonderful.

we would have preferred a balcony but this wasn’t as big as deal as we first thought as we had very easy access to the pool area. unfortunately we had an issue with ants in our room. when we reported it staff were apologetic and efficient in dealing with it. However overnight they returned. we were checking out that day and mentioned to the receptionist on check out. so not that big a deal for us but my husband did have any notes on his foot which is not a pleasant experience from such a lovely hotel.

Great hotel between Santa Caterina and Santa Maria al Bagno but easy walk to both on the boardwalk. Loved both of these towns and ate at some lovely restaurants during our stay. The loungers and umbrellas that belong to the hotel across the road on the rocks were fabulous and the water so clean and clear to swim in. Only used the pool once which was great but the ocean was so good so spent most of our time there.

A couple of small things and we would stay again for sure but would pay more to not be in a rock facing room as there was a damp smell and feel to the room. Only had fresh cut fruit for 1 of the 4 breakfasts.

Everything about the hotel was great...especially the staff. The staff couldn't have been more accomodating especially given my lack of Italian. EVrything i asked for help with was met with a smile and was organised for me. Its in a great location too..you can walk to cafes and beach clubs and theres is a good walking opath so you can go on long walks along the coast also. The gym and pool area are very nice too if you just feel like having a day in the hotel. Breakfast had a huge range to choose from and the dinners too were tasty.

Fantastic stay, hotel, staff, food were all excellent. Nothing too much trouble. Great pool area and private section on beach in front of hotel. Really clean and staff from cleaning ladies to management very friendly and helpful. Very traditional Italian town short walk from hotel one side and another short walk to a lovely little marina the other side. Lovely bars cafes and restaurants.

Super clean and really well maintained. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is really good with great facilities like the pool and beach decking directly opposite. We really enjoyed our stay.

Not much at all! A few small comments. It wasn’t a problem for us but the pool bar wasn’t open often and not in the evenings it would be good if this large pool area was a bit more of a livelier place to go and have a drink in the evenings, but maybe it is during the busier months! And for me personally, too many sweet options for breakfast but everybody else seemed to like them!

Loved everything about this hotel. Just across the road from the sea. All the staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Would highly recommend staying for dinner, the food was amazing and was excellent value for money.

Nothing to do with the hotel but there no buses from Santa Maria Al Bagno. Not a problem for us as we had a car.

The breakfast was a little lacking. Didn’t expect fresh fruit options to largely consist of pears in syrup, peaches in syrup, fruit cocktail in syrup. Fresh fruit offered as melon with a smattering of pineapple. However was great to be offered fresh orange juice.

Half board offering was really helpful. Also the opportunity to get snacks and drinks delivered to you at the pool, decking area. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

think a shuttle into Gallipoli every other night would be really helpful as this is a very quiet resort. We thought we had booked the best available room through Booking.com as we had gone for the "deluxe sea view room". We were disappointed in the sea view room allocated to us as the balcony was set back so our "view" was in a corridor. I queried this with reception and was told that the full sea view rooms are not available on booking.com. We therefore had to pay a supplement on site to get the room we wanted. This was disappointing.
