We stayed at the end of October, the restaurant was already close. One could walk to the village of Pantelleria (30 minutes) along an easy path parallel to the sea. The swimming pool was delightful. Book a room with a sea view, it is worth it! The sunset is spectacular! The mini fridge in the room was absolutely silent, which is not always the case.

Rooms are not soundproof: we could hear the words of a phonecall nearby! Our balcony had some debries on the floor, but it had rained for four days the week before (very unusual for the island!) and maybe they hadn‘t had the chance to clean all the balconies yet. The room was otherwise very clean. Breakfast: no fresh fruit, but otherwise nice.

The Cossyra hotel is a clean, nice hotel located in a village on the island of Pantelleria. It has fine, clean rooms with a good amount of space to use and a fine balcony to enjoy some sea breeze. The swimming pool is a fine addition, given the difficulty of accessing beaches on the island. Breakfast is great, with a lot of options, included a much welcome continental breakfast option.

All this value comes at a price: nothing unreasonable, but I wouldn't call it a cheap hotel. The location is also convenient only to a certain extent: given the structure of the island, there's no way you can stay here for some time without a car. At a certain point, one might get bored of the swimming pool and wish to try some nearby beach, or might want to try something else than the hotel restaurant.

The location is really strategical. Close to the main village of the island and facing the sunset. Quite old-style rooms but super clean (congrats to the cleaning staff). Breakfast is rich although quite standard. Nice fresh water swimming pool and excellent sea water swimming pools of the other hotel of the same owner (Mursia). The facilities of the other hotel are accessible also to Cossyra's clients. Surely recommended!

Nice building with pool not far from the centre of Pantelleria town (few miles). Good breakfast and clean room.

Although on the booking site is mentioned that there is a restaurant at the hotel, is wasn't open off season. This had to be mentioned as we choose hotels with restaurant only. Staff is correct but not professional (clothing, administration,...).

The salt water pool of the sister hotel is fantastic with easy beach access. The restaurant in the Cossyra, owned and run by chef Salvatore Botaro called Scruscio is absolutely phenomenal.

Very limited breakfast of commercial quality with a restriction of only one coffee. If a second is desired, there is an additional charge which certainly doesn't start your vacation day on the right foot. Bathroom amenities also very limited.
