Staff were very nice and friendly, the hotel is new, designed very cozy - I loved it. Breakfast was very good. Clean room, and a great shower! Overall I do recommend it, and totally value for money.

1. The light on the room balcony was set on at night with no option to turn it off. We announced it to the front desk but they said it is not possible to turn it off. We didn't want to close the curtains cause we love to wake up from a daylight, but we had no option but to sleep in a total dark since the light really bothered our sleep! We slept badly due to that :( 2. We came with our car late at night to find out that the parking is not usable, without knowing why, and spent 30 minutes figuring out where to park. Turns out it was due to constructions in the parking of the hotel, which also caused noise during the next day and no one let us know for it in advance.

We enjoyed our stay (end October) a lot, and happy to come again when we are in the same area. Hotel looks very fresh and cozy, rooms are good size and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Very good breakfast selection, including warm and cold dishes. Dinner in restaurant was very good too - recommended. Small SPA with two saunas inside and outside jacuzzi (included in price) was great after day of hiking, but be aware to book time in advance (e.g. after dinner), because there is maximum 4-6 people allowed at the same time, and there should be two separate reservations for SPA and jacuzzi. Carezza lake and Labyrinths of Latemar for 3-4h hiking are not far away by car, and highly recommended; stay in that area also for sunset view. Popular viewpoints towards Sella Pass are other direction, but also close by. There is large and easy to access parking lot just next to hotel.

During our stay (end October) cable cars near hotel did not work, but we knew it in advance.

Cant wear flipflops into dining room - when you have blisters after 3 days of hiking

Great rooms, large, very warm, very comfortable beds, large bathroom, sofa in the living room of the suite is convertible into 2 single beds. 2 large wardrobes and 2 working tables in the suite, large balcony. Very comfortable beds, and very good cleaning every day. Shuttle to the large area from the hotel and ski lift right behind the hotel to the small area. Stuff in the restaurant is very good and careful. Really highly recommend the hotel.

The only disappointing thing was the kitchen. Hotel pretend to be a hotel with high cuisine restaurant - but most of the food during our 1 week staying was not tasty. It was possible to find something quite good in the menu, but not perfect and not delicious. On HB you may choose 4 dishes (1 starter, 1 hot starter, 1 main dish and 1 dessert) you choose from 3 choices in the menu, 2 choices are always the same and 1 is changing everyday. When you paying near 500 euro for 1 night of staying it is strange that fried egg or mixed salad cost an extra 6-8 euro on the breakfast. Bathrobe also cost extra 5 euro (and was not available when we asked for it). It is better to take a little bit more money of 1 night but include fried and boiled eggs and some vegetables in the breakfast.

Modern hotel with lovely staff in a great location. Excellent facilities (outdoors jacuzzi and sauna with mountain views & relaxing wellness spa inside). Breakfast was very good.

The room that we initially checked into did not resemble the photos on booking.com, was rather tired looking and could have been cleaner. However once we reported this issue to the staff, they were very accommodating and moved us to another room which was great, exactly as per the photos advertised and the cleanliness was up to a much higher standard this time. It would be nice if the restaurant played some background music in the evening.

I stayed here in September and the owner of the Hotel is extremely easy going and very accommodating. The Hotel is very clean and the rooms are great. I thought we had booked two separate beds, but it was one large one and I was traveling with a friend. The owner changed our room at no charge to a larger room with separate beds as well as separate rooms. He also didn't mind about when we checked out since many people had canceled due to weather. It was this kind of attitude and accommodation that was really above and beyond what was expected. Would definitely stay here again.

The staffs are all friendly and nice. The location is perfect. just out of the busy area to enjoy quietness and beautiful view. Right next to the lift. Near a supermarket and a cling laundry. It was just so convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. the view from the balcony was beautiful. the restaurant was really good! We really had good time staying here.

It was rather pricy but it is summer season of Dolomite. hotels are expensive everywhere.

The X Alp is a great hotel to use for the Val di Fassa area. The location is great due to the ski lift virtually in the car park and a walk into Pozza for more shops etc takes only 10-15mins. There are a few smaller shops, bars, restaurants in Pera itself only a couple of minutes away. Canazei is about 10 mins by bus or car. All the staff I met at the hotel were great, the 4 waiting staff in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner were superb and were very efficient and professional, the guy that runs the bar made me feel at home and provided a great selection of treats to go with drinks ordered and the reception staff were also very helpful and efficient. There is a very comfortable bar and sitting area in the hotel with nice views to the mountains, also a good outdoor seating area with comfy chairs and blankets. Ski room is good with boot heaters, locker and easy access to car park. The walk from the ski room to the small Ciampedie area ski lift is about 100 steps. Breakfast at the hotel was great, well above the average and had hot options as well as the usual continental. Dinner in the 4U Bistro (I paid for HB) was really nice and included 4 courses. The desserts were especially good. I always felt very full after the evening meal! Drinks are reasonably priced in the restaurant and bar. Really nice stay at the X Alp, I would definitely look at staying there again next time I’m in the Dolomites.

Great hotel with nice room and view in a great location. The hotel staff was very kind . The staff in the dining room gave us the feeling of a family (they remembered our breakfast preferences and made sure that we receive it) would like to thank especially Roberto for his great service in the dining room.

The dinner is relatively expensive and with not many choices. It can become a problem since in the evening there was only one open (not everyday) restaurant in this small town.
