Our family of 4 (two kids aged 10 and 7) stayed in one of the lodges - which was spacious, immaculately clean and very nicely fitted out. The highlights of the Masseria are the pool, its location and its hosts! The pool is beautiful and as enjoyable as any pool of which we have had the pleasure. There are endless beaches and sea swimming spots within close proximity - and Pressice took us by surprise. The Centro Storico particularly is incredibly beautiful and has a selection of excellent eateries, bars and cafes. We did not walk to the Centro, but you could (in less than 20 mins, on the flat!). Bartolomeo and his family are warm and welcoming hosts. Bartolomeo speaks English (amongst a number of other languages!) and was available either in person or via WhatsApp to assist with recommendations or other help required. If you wish a beautiful pool and a hub to explore but with plenty immediately nearby then we would not hesitate to recommend. We hope to return! Gracia Bartolomeo e la tua bella famiglia….

The masseria was beautiful with large gardens to walk around in, a very cool old underground oil mill you could explore and a wonderful large, refreshing pool to beat the extreme heat during the day. Bartolomeo and his wife were extremely helpful for every request. They gave great local restaurant recommendations and suggested a few local festivals happening in town in Presicce to go to. The studio was also very large and comfortable, and the AC was a big relief as the temperature neared 40°.

We loved it all. The space was big enough for us and the owners took care of us like we are family. We were very sad to leave.

Excellent owners with a very kind and helpful approach. Nice surroundings and a peaceful area. The pool is excellent. The apartment was nice and clean, beds are comfy.

There was only one smaller aircon in the main room of the apartment and it took time to get the bedrooms cool enough.

This property is beautiful - the apartment was spacious and had a very large bathroom/shower. The property is quiet and only a short drive to the ocean. The infinity pool was beautiful. I would recommend this property for adults that are looking for a very quiet, relaxing vacation. However, realize that the beach is about 15 minutes away.

There many rules about using the pool. The pool is closed for a few hours during the middle of the day (the hottest hours) and cannot be used, women must tie their hair up to enter the pool, sitting on the sides of the pool is not permitted, jumping and diving is not allowed and quiet enjoyment of the pool is strongly encouraged by staff. While these rules may not seem overly restrictive, it is nearly impossible for younger kids to enjoy the pool with such rules. My sons (7 and 10) are not rowdy kids, but they found it difficult to enjoy the pool with such restrictions and staff constantly watching them. For these reasons, I think this property is better suited for adults. Additionally, the property does not offer breakfast, which is contrary to the information in the listing. There is no restaurant on site and therefore no dinner option (the apartment is equipped with a kitchen so homemade meals are possible). The property is quiet, well-kept and serene, but I would not recommend it for families with younger kids. Teens may be able to deal with all the rules, but kids under 10 won't enjoy it.
