The location is good.. Arriving from the airport takes around 30 min , after you are just few minutes driving to poetto beach.. and another 5 min to Cagliari center..the room was quite big with A/C a small fridge also a tv and of course Wi-Fi. Comfortable double bed nice and quiet in the morning and during the day..The room has a outdoor terrace and private bathroom...the host was so helpful and friendly.. I had a great coffee and a bottle of cold water as welcome...and lots of information and good suggestions....no parking problem outside the house...I find a space anytime of the day for my car... the breakfast in veranda is amazing.. typically Italian ..I loved it ..... full pot of classic moka Italian way ... espresso, cappuccino ,latte available, fresh made orange juice and fruits.. as well biscuits jam etc .. I had a great experience in Cagliari and I wish to come back next year ..the city is beautiful and the people lovely.. the food is good quite everywhere... it's Italy so.

Stefano and Natalie are the most generous hosts and they made us feel so welcome. We had a room on the second floor with a view out over Poetto beach, Sella Del Diavola and Cagliary. For breakfast we were offered fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs to order, a plate of various hams and cheeses... yogurt, muesli and homemade fig and apricot jam. and of course coffee! Our hosts were eager to give us advice, and even had umbrellas for us to borrow one day when it was pouring the rain! The house is located on the outskirts of Quartu Sant'Elena and it is super-quiet. With a car it is 5 mins to drive into the center of Q. S. E. and the same to the less-crowded end of Poetto Beach. Cagliary itself is about a 15-20 min drive if you want a "city-day".

The incredible welcoming, the beautiful view, the sunsets, the quiet, the green, the huge comfortable bed, the terrace straight out of the room, the delicious bottomless breakfast in the garden with homemade fig jam from the garden’s figs!

Nothing. All was perfect. The only downside is unrelated to the property: to access the beach you have to cross a large busy road next to a huge roundabout, that definitely ruins the vibe! Luckily there is no perception of the aforementioned road from the property due to it being on a hill.

Very laidback style, easy to get around, simple to manage and use as a location to get you around Cagliari and surrounding area. The host Stefano provided plenty of information and ideas of places to visit tailored to our needs. He also provided some tools such as kids buckets and toys, chair and umbrellas to use on the beach. Breakfast offers plenty of choices from savoury to sweet taste, very good. Thanks Stefano and Natalya for your hospitality.

Mr. Stefano was amazing. We got many useful informations about beaches, restaurants and transportation. At checkout we got local herbs from his kind wife and as a bonus we were transported by car with our heavy luggage to the optional bus stop to city center. It helped us very much. Thanks again!

Absolutely charming!! Stefano is the best host, communicated quickly, gave us everything we needed, shares experiences and tips and makes you feel welcome in his home. The view from the terrace is stunning and the beach is not far, 10min. walking distance. The breakfast was amazing. We had a great time and would love to come back!

There is nothing we didn't like! The bed and furniture could be a bit better, but we were still comfortable

Our arrival and check-in was around 21:00, which was not a problem for the owner who met us outside the house. The room has everything you need: 3 towels, bathroom necessities, a hairdryer (you can ask for an iron), a comfortable bed, a huge wardrobe and AC. The room is cleaned every day. Very good sun curtains: the sun will not wake you up in the morning! Lovely view from the terrace: sea, beach, city in the distance. Very beautiful view, both at night and during the day. We were delighted with the interior: all in the style of an old movie - but very nice and functional. Breakfast is classic for a B&B in Sardinia: yoghurt, fruit, croissant (in plastic), marmalade (homemade jam!!!), ham/cheese and biscuits as well as drinks: water, freshly squeezed juice and coffee/tea. The breakfast area is on the floor below, and it's lovely: there's a terrace where you can relax and enjoy a summer morning. The location is convenient for the beach vacation. As for restaurants and shops, it is a 15-20 minute walk one way. For us it was no problem. The apartment is 40 minutes by bus (bus every half hour) from Cagliari. In this city you will find everything: entertainment, restaurants, attractions and shops. All our neighbors came for a holiday by the sea, so we were relaxed and after sunny days and walks - got a very good night's sleep. The owner is very adaptable: if you don't want to be disturbed, he won't ask you any questions. But if you want to know more about Cagliari or Sardinia, or where the best local restaurants and entertainment are, he will answer all your questions you need. You will not be left without an answer!!! I am delighted with my stay and will definitely book this accommodation next time.

Be sure to look at a google map with a satellite view to understand the altitude. The point is that the apartments are at the top, so it can be difficult for an untrained tourist to reach on foot. It's great if you have a car. No worries! The owner can meet you at the bottom of the hill to take you home! That's what happened to us: our host met us after dinner in the restaurant, as it was heavy after an Italian dinner.

Everything was perfect. Stefano was the best host. the hosts make sure that you feel like at home. The breakfasts were delicious, the orange juice was the best in the world. Stefano was always there to advise and suggest "what, where and how". It was very close to the beach, shops and restaurants as well. At the same time, the house was a bit far from the center, so it was quiet and peaceful. If you want to feel the atmosphere of Sardinia, you must visit Al Sandalyon.

Stefano is the best host I’ve ever known and he made my stay in Cagliari so comfortable and enjoyable. I felt home and had a fantastic time thanks to his advices. Breakfast was delicious and my room was super clean and comfortable. Al Sandalyon is a great place to stay in Cagliari!!

Stephano very friendly and helpful host of this beautiful place. Amazing view greay food. Stephano went beyond everything to ensure my stay is as good as only can be. He provided umbrella for the beach, toys for my child etc.
