Hotel is a good 1.5km walk from the train station without luggage. With luggage you would need a taxi. Early Check in was appreciated and nice reception. You need to ask for hotel info though as none was given eg. wifi, pool, rooftop terrace with a spa and drop dead view was kept a secret! Map on counter. Best tip, walk across street and keep going to next cross street for great shopping & restaurants so no need to go into Riccione centro, which is a long walk or No.11 bus. No one told me about the closer option until I found it walking back from centro the first night. Rooftop is wonderful and no one seemed to know it was there, although the pool was packed with screaming children. Fabulous retreat for peace and quiet in this hotel.
Be aware there is a very busy road on the non beach front side of the hotel. So if you don’t want traffic noise then you need to specify a beachfront room as all other rooms are very noisy, something I did not expect. Also rooms above the swimming pool very noisy, and the pool is on the roadside corner with the public looking in. Not really what I imagined from the photos. Room was very basic. Two single beds pushed together when I selected “double bed”. This is common in Italy and not specified until you find out! Bring your earplugs. Overall the secret rooftop terrace and spa was the saving grace and made this hotel a more pleasurable stay for a couple of days. Oh...also no hair conditioner provided so bring or there is a great little shop across the road.
