After a week in the busy city of Napoli, we were pleased to get some quiet in this lovely place. The house has quite some personality, and you can feel that the house is not decorated just for renting. There isn't much to do in the Roccarainola, and I recommend staying here if you have a car. Pepe, the dog, and Zaza, the cat, will join us from the kitchen door every morning to make us company, which was always a reason to smile. We would have breakfast in the terras, we would go nature during the day, and at night we would make our dinner - the kitchen was well equipped. A good place for people who want to relax.

beautiful, tastefully furnished ancient house, where you will breathe the charm of the Italian countryside

The landlady was late even thou we set the appointment and hours of arrival earlier. Dirty, smelly rooms with all the old furniture inside were not prepared for guests. Because of the temperature outside ( over 40 degrees, no air-conditioning), the interiors were like hell, but the owner had only one fan for two separate apartments and felt nothing wrong with it. When I asked about it at the ground floor apt. she just replied this was cool and that I would just see what hot meant in the second apt. upstairs. And in fact, it was even worse... Hard to justify this attitude... The surrounding area is a suspicious neighborhood to me with no close facilities like shops, etc. Pictures of the apt. aren't close to the real one. We paid but we didn't stay and moved to the other B&B a couple of kilometers away which was fine.
