My family and I had an incredible experience at Lo Smeraldo. The charming property is located with a nice view of the surrounding nature. The staff was extremely welcoming and so kind to us, even communicating in English as my wife and I do not speak Italian. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. When we arrived, we were delighted to find a local artisan fair taking place, where we enjoyed free samples of local cheeses, wines, and spirits, along with fascinating demonstrations, such as antique grain grinding! (They are having this fair again next year, around the same time as when we went- late September.) We asked if they would be able to accommodate dinner for my daughter's allergy, and they were more than happy to comply. The meal was extraordinary, featuring local wine, four different olive oils, homemade focaccia, and local bread as starters. Then, we ate a delicious homemade vegetable flan with a bechamel sauce made with local cheese. Finally, we ate lamb with vegetables. Breakfast the next day was also very good! As we left the next day, the staff presented us with a jar of local honey from the fair as a parting gift. We have never felt such hospitality from a hotel in which we were staying in for less than 24 hours! Highly recommend this property.

I stayed here a couple night while looking at a potential property to buy in a neighboring town. Victoria was awesome and makes sure you have everything you need and all questions answered. The breakfast/dinner area is very nice and welcoming and the food is top notch. The area of the Hotel location is private and quiet. The Hotel itself is very beautiful, clean and comforting. I plan on booking again soon as I'll be back to put the final touches on my property purchase. Grazie mille

The room needs some renovation and the bathroom some ventilation to prevent moisture.

The room we stayed in was lovely, with a balcony. l would have like twin beds as l stayed with my daughter but our stay was still very pleasant.

There isn’t much l didn’t like about the property. l really liked it. Nonetheless, l feel more could be done with the main dining room decor. Flowers on tables. a touch of colour here and there.

The breakfast was great. There was a good variety of food and drink available. We also really enjoyed dinner. We didn’t know there was a restaurant, so that definitely exceeded our expectations.

We wish we could have used the pool! The wifi wasn’t working in the rooms, only in the lobby.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location surrounded by nature but not far from many attractions. Friendly staff.

Wonderful location, quite and silent. The room was large and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The staff was super - the owner treated me with fruit and drinks for letting me waiting for the check in. He was really kind. Although very busy at the restaurant , he was also helpful in giving info about the places around. Definitively a very good place to stay and enjoy vacations.
