Located on a charming staircase street in the hill town of Rossano. To park, enter Rossano, take a right off Piazza Sant'Anargiri, drive up the 2 hairpin turns on Via Martucci, and park in front of the Byzantine Institute. The location is great for access to the beach or surrounding region, in particular the Byzantine monastery at Patire and the ancient Bruttian city as Castiglione di Paludi with its impressive East Gate. Franco, the host, is next-level. He bakes the cornetti fresh every morning, and the breakfast is served in the garden with plentiful juice, caffe latte, rusks and jam, and yogurt. The room and bathroom are clean, comfortable, and a welcome sight at the end of a long day. The building is historic, and the WiFi is great.

This strategically located, quaint B&B offers small but comfortable rooms and Franco, your host, is welcoming, accommodating and very helpful. Street parking is available and all major landmarks, are within walking distance. When it comes to restaurant, follow Franco's advice, you will be delighted.

Since the B&B is located in the center of an old Calabrian town, make sure you contact your host and follow their directions before trying to drive to the structure.

Everything was fantastic in this memorable "La Gatta sul Tetto" B&B. Starting by the location, atmosphere, rooms, common spaces, bed, etc. It is located centrally and close to everything. The common areas are relaxing, very wel kept, including the cutest patio. The service is on-point, as I had everything needed without needing to ask. The most notable highlight, in addition to a magical dreamlike B&B and town, is the helpfulness and kindness of the people there. The B&B is very hard to find! It took me an hour with TomTom and finally with Google maps to find it.

Really beautiful location, in the middle of the city centre of Rossano, The B&B it’s beautiful, a really historical place with a magnificent Room and most of all..amazing shower!! The house Owner is really kind and helpful. If I will go back in the area I will definitely book again.

Great staff: very friendly and helpful, with great suggestions of things to do: museums, restaurants, cafes and nature walks, plus places to park. Delicious breakfast at an excellent cafe nearby. The room is nice and quiet, and the house is spacious, comfortable and conveniently located.
