If you are looking for luxury go elsewhere.This is small, discrete, rustic, family run business that wins you over with warm,, embracing welcome and care.They will do everything to make your stay enjoyable and worry free. Breakfast is good, italian pastries, eggs and bacon plus cheese and prosciutto(ask for both) are delicious.We really enjoyed our time at the hotel

It is not hotel's fault but the lake it is located on is not for swimming. You can kayak on it but nothing else

A slight niggle but not much - the sink was shallow & tilts downwards slightly so the water often sprayed over me & the floor … bit of a design fault! Only a small criticism really.

Beautiful location, cute nutrias. The breakfast was good. The hotel was understanding when we had to postpone the trip for one week.

I usually never leave negative reviews BUT I had for this place! Typical issues of an older hotel that needs renovations. Overpriced for the small size of the room and the service. All this would not have been noteworthy if not for the fact that my gold earrings went missing from the room. I talked with the manager about their disappearance. She said they would look into it. Certainly, nothing has happened. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. The earrings were stored in a cosmetics bag that was not transparent, meaning that the person who took them went through our belongings. We asked an earlier check-out and reimbursement for one night which we got. However, the management of the hotel succeeded in making everything even worse. When we were bringing our suitcases to the car, the management organised an EMBARRASSING scene. The maids were accused of the theft in front of me, crying that they did not do it. Truly, a disgrace. The scene was certainly put together, so we would see how they were 'trying to understand what happened'. In the end, I did not get my earrings back and had to endure this ridiculous scene.. The staff was generally friendly until the maid incident. Other negative aspects: - our room was small and not particularly clean ( for example the shower curtain was really dirty and it is easily replaceable) - the 'wardrobe' - it was a strange and uncomfortable space above the bed - smelled moody - the room had a mini fridge which was so small, nothing would fit in it - the swimming pool had strange hours, one day being closed completely - the small dock is in need of renovation, the outdoor furniture is all different, most of the sunbeds are old and not very comfortable
