The hotel was perfect in every aspect. Is located right in the middle of an old citadel so driving towards it gets you through the Imperial Gate (Porta Imperiale), and the building is from 1700's so is an historically protected building. Rooms were equipped with AC so returning to a 20 something degrees room after a full day in the heat was amazing. Hotel seems to have been recently renovated so everything felt fresh and clean. The restaurant served a consistent variety of Italian dishes (some with different names then expected) and at least the ones we tried were top quality. Staff was really friendly and helpful and constantly tried to make our stay there more than comfortable. I highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to spend some quiet days in Lombardy.

Being located a bit far from the main highways of Lombardy the access is via two main local roads which are not in their best shape. So after driving on highways you have to bear approximately 20-30 minutes on not so good roads.

You must stay here. What a memorable one night stay. Right in the heart of Sabbioneta Newly opened. Modernised tasteful design of restaurant bar and dining area and upstairs rooms Room super comfy. Super clean. Wifi fast and stable. Very quiet and peaceful Met several staff members. All warm and welcoming. A particular thanks to the very professional kind young woman who moved me to the quiet side as they were having a well deserved celebration in the inner courtyard. I was very grateful Breakfast. Lovely ambience. Great expresso. Fresh cut apple appreciated. Such good value for money. I would very highly recommend this property

The room had air conditioning so it was lovely and cool. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We ate in the pizzeria in the evening which was also very good. Location is 2 minutes into the main centre.

A beautifully restored hotel. Very tasteful. Short walk to centre. Good breakfast. Great Aircon. Nice bathroom.

Very few staff around. Be aware there are Stairs. Sabbioneta is VERY quiet!

Hotel was spotless and our room was perfect - newly refurbished and very quiet. Staff was exceptional. Breakfast included freshly-baked pastries and a good variety of fresh fruit.

You have to choose what you want for breakfast on the evening before. A buffet - even if small- would be preferable.

The zone is very quiet, parking in front of the door. The restaurant is a big plus. Great food and not pricey.

A newly renovated hotel with a restaurant that serves amazing pizza. Complimentary water & great wifi and staff were always available for whatever you needed.
