Breakfast was generous and good. Reception staff were super friendly and really lovely. The guest lounge and balcony with water views was an unexpected bonus - lovely spot to sit and relax / read outside our room but not have to go out in the heat. Also it was great that we had access to an external courtyard with drying area and a little table and chairs to eat a light dinner. It made our stay very comfortable - plus the always-smiling reception ladies who we passed many times

The staff serving breakfast were not particularly friendly or helpful. We had to ask twice for our coffee and a guest who arrived later received their coffee earlier. This was the only downside to an otherwise very comfortable stay. It was a shame because we ate breakfast just before leaving - so it was our final interaction at the hotel

One of the added bonuses was the free parking available just in front of the villa, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas at our own pace. We highly recommend both the villa and the town of Santa Cesarea Terme itself. The town is not only interesting but also picturesque, offering a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty that captivated us throughout our stay. We enjoyed staying in the historic villa which has all the comfort you need for a relaxing stay in Salento. Very close to the terme of Santa cesarea, Castro and all the prettiest beach of Otranto. Restaurants and bars are both at distance walk or short drive. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks Gabriella for your help in navigating the surroundings and great restaurant tips. I will definitely book again!

They provided soya milk as I am allergic to dairy. There was fresh fruit and cereal that I could eat at breakfast. The water used for making tea was boiling, so the tea was great. Friendly, helpful staff.

Our shower room, which had an additional facilitily of a spa was not clean, orange stains and mould in the corners and by the folding door.

This was quite possibly the loveliest hotel I've ever stayed in! The host Gabriella was wonderful and very helpful, the building was beautiful and the room was magnificent, with a comfy bed and the most stunning sea views. Breakfast was nice, and there were a lot of different options to choose from. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Everything about Villa Raffaella was just wonderful. The staff were incredible, helped us with any questions about the town we had and gave us great advice on things we would have missed if not shared (including a baptismal chamber in a cave that one swims too, and the best pizza's we have ever had). The place itself was magical and the breakfast was paradise. We had so much fun in this town as well, truly special.

Gabriella made our stay fantastic. She is a great host and super helpful. She treated us like family and went above and beyond to help us out in every way. The hotel is in a great location and very pretty with beautiful views of the water. Great breakfast selection too. We will definitely be back when in the area. Grazie Gabriella di tutto. We had such a nice time here! Gabriella welcomed us warmly and gave us an amazing introduction to the history of the hotel. Its traditional but very clean and nice. Such a good deal with breakfast included! Would definitely stay here again/ and recommend it to friends!

Staff were friendly and helpful. our room was huge and luxurious and we had our own spacious Terrace overlooking the Ionian Sea! breakfast had awesome selection. View from Terrace was stunning. 5 minuute walk finds restaurants and bars and shopping. Stunning location & building etc. Highly recommend.

The room was simple and a bit old-fashioned, which might bother some people, but I thought it was perfect for a restored 19th-century landmark. It had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. Upstairs is a lounge with antique furniture, a bar, and a terrace with a nice view of the sea, which is just across the street. Gabriela is a friendly and helpful host.

We were only there one night. I have no complaints.
