Breakfast was generous and good. Reception staff were super friendly and really lovely. The guest lounge and balcony with water views was an unexpected bonus - lovely spot to sit and relax / read outside our room but not have to go out in the heat. Also it was great that we had access to an external courtyard with drying area and a little table and chairs to eat a light dinner. It made our stay very comfortable - plus the always-smiling reception ladies who we passed many times

The staff serving breakfast were not particularly friendly or helpful. We had to ask twice for our coffee and a guest who arrived later received their coffee earlier. This was the only downside to an otherwise very comfortable stay. It was a shame because we ate breakfast just before leaving - so it was our final interaction at the hotel

The breakfast served at the villa was excellent, with a variety of delicious options to choose from, ensuring a great start to our days of exploration. One of the added bonuses was the free parking available just in front of the villa, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas at our own pace. We highly recommend both the villa and the town of Santa Cesarea Terme itself. The town is not only interesting but also picturesque, offering a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty that captivated us throughout our stay. They provided soya milk as I am allergic to dairy. There was fresh fruit and cereal that I could eat at breakfast. The water used for making tea was boiling, so the tea was great. Friendly, helpful staff.

Our shower room, which had an additional facilitily of a spa was not clean, orange stains and mould in the corners and by the folding door.

Everything about Villa Raffaella was just wonderful. The staff were incredible, helped us with any questions about the town we had and gave us great advice on things we would have missed if not shared (including a baptismal chamber in a cave that one swims too, and the best pizza's we have ever had). The place itself was magical and the breakfast was paradise. We had so much fun in this town as well, truly special.

Gabriella made our stay fantastic. She is a great host and super helpful. She treated us like family and went above and beyond to help us out in every way. The hotel is in a great location and very pretty with beautiful views of the water. Great breakfast selection too. We will definitely be back when in the area. Grazie Gabriella di tutto. Staff were friendly and helpful. our room was huge and luxurious and we had our own spacious Terrace overlooking the Ionian Sea! breakfast had awesome selection. View from Terrace was stunning. 5 minuute walk finds restaurants and bars and shopping. Stunning location & building etc. Highly recommend.

The room was simple and a bit old-fashioned, which might bother some people, but I thought it was perfect for a restored 19th-century landmark. It had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. Upstairs is a lounge with antique furniture, a bar, and a terrace with a nice view of the sea, which is just across the street. Gabriela is a friendly and helpful host.

Amazing place, every one was so nice (especially Gabriella at the reception - she gave me info about the place and the down, recommended shops). The building is magical (I would recommend a spritz on the balcony of the lounge bar), my room was comfy and clean. Great breakfast with traditional pasticciotti. The place is very conveniently located, close to the town center and the sea.

The room was very clean and modern. The breakfast coffee was good. Air conditioning was functioning great even though it was 45C.

First place where you pay for the second coffee for breakfast. Breakfast was just ok for a continental breakfast and a 4 star hotel. The room was clean but rather simple. Overall it was a good experience but I wouldn't go as far as saying "great".

My stay at Villa Raffaella was fantastic! The Villa is an historical building facing right in front of the sea and very close to main restaurants and beaches of Santa Cesarea Terme. The bus stop of the Salento in bus service is right in front of the Villa (so very convenient for those like me moving around by bus or those interested in doing the 'Cammino del Salento' hike). My room was very big and super clean, with a beautiful terrace facing the sea. Breakfast Last but not least, the owner of the Villa was super nice (he let me check-in in advance) and staff members were super welcoming and professional. I had a great (though short) stay!

I think that given the beauty of the building (and the historical value), there are little details that can be improved (e.g., the bidet very close to the shower, the toilet cover was a bit damaged, the fridge in the room was old) but nothing that makes your stay uncomfortable really!
