Beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Our host was helpful, friendly and exceptionally welcoming. Bed was comfortable. The whole village of Scanno is something to be celebrated and treasured! Delicious breakfast. Everything in walking distance. Thank you.

We are waiting for a refund for the day we couldn't stay due to the buses not working on the holiday. Booking.com insists they can not reimburse us until the owner of Ill Palazzo reimburses them. This is my only report in this category. I'm uncertain what the hold up is. Regardless, we would stay here again. Such a treasure in Scanno.

Stylish and comfortable stay in historic Scanno. We loved the old family furniture and setting. But it’s also super comfy, with a cosy heated bathroom and quilts on the bed; tea and coffee making facilities; fast WiFi; easy parking; next to all amenities. Host Matilde is super friendly and offers a delicious breakfast with multiple options including eggs, pancakes, local cheese and ham, homemade cake. It was easily the best breakfast of our trip! Highly recommend this memorable spot.

Excellent location, in the high part of the old city. Wonderfull view from the window. A private parking area behind the building. A big room and a beautiful dining room for breakfast. Good and fresh breakfast, very kind woman owner and a fair price.

We suggest adding a sign in the parking lot that directs to a passage into the zone of the rooms. You need to know that you have to call the owner once you get to the place.

Our room & en suite bathroom were both a good size. Good breakfast with lots of variety. Our hostess made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. A good location with restaurants & shops within an easy walk.

Matilde is an exceptional host. She provides an ample breakfast, more than we could eat. She is very friendly, pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Il Palazzo in Scanno.

The shower stall floor is a little slippery and could use a textured matt.

Breakfast was delicious, the rooms and view were lovely, and the b&b was located right in the center of town which was perfect. The beds were also very comfortable and gave us the best night sleep of all the places we’ve stayed on our trip to Italy.

The host was incredibly kind and made us a wonderful breakfast. The room was absolutely beautiful and the view of the town from the window was charming. The room was modernized but still had charm.

My husband and I loved our stay at Il Palazzo. The location was great! We could walk to everywhere in this cute little town. Our breakfast everyday was homemade and so delicious! A bonus was that there was parking right on the property. Not easy to find in small towns.

The only thing that we didn't like was that we had to pay in cash. My credit card was on file with them and I had even written ahead to ask if they accept credit cards which they said that they did. When it was time to pay she said that the bank refused not just one, but all three of our cards! These same cards which we then used all over Italy

The location, the setting, and the warm hospitality of the host made for a perfect stay. Take time in the afternoon to mingle with local residents in the charming plaza by the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Valle

Bein' able to admire Abruzzian history & culture. The palazzo offers the feeling of wealthy centuries gone by. Souvenirs remain. A very warm welcome and chat with Mathilde.
