It seems this was an old palace turned into an hotel. Although the walls of the rooms need some new painting the whole building actually was lovely and in the heart of Veroli! We just stopped in this tiny town for one day, but to get their by car was a challenge as their seem to be two entrances. The car needs to be parked (free of charge) at the back on a safe parking lot. DonMt go there, like we did with an SUV, by driving to the main entrances as the street is very, very narrow and you’ll regret it. Luckily Leonardo at the front desk hopped in my car and helped me get out safely so I was able to park the car at the correct parking lot. Breakfast was decent and staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s a great town for break, if you’re driving a long distance (like we did from Milano to Napoli). Also there several eateries nearby. We ate at Scrocchia which was great and good value for money!

This is an old beautifully renowned palace in the middle of the old city which was previously a monastery. Our room was on the second floor with a great view of the city and the mountains, the bathroom was full of light and spacious. We chose the location because the city was among many other places we planned to visit but we could as well just spend the time lazy-making in the hotel area. There are some bars and (probably) more expensive restaurants serving local dishes. Worth mentioning, the hotel cooperates with international gastronomy and enology school next door. As the weather was challenging, we didn't manage to reach every place and we certainly return in the future with the greatest pleasure. The manager in the reception provided us with a handful of information about many other places we could visit like Basilica Concattedrale di Santa Maria Salome. The minuscule city of Veroli is very well maintained, compared to the others nearby. As far as distinctive places, there is a City Museum, and the most important artifact are so called Fasti Verulani - one of the very few original ancient Roman calendar tables done most probabaly at the times of Octavian Augustus' rule. There is also the newly opened Palazzo Marchese just a few steps from the Filonardi palace, where one may find a super informative exhibition concerning ancient peoples living in this part of Lazio before Romans came. In the nearby cities you have medieval frescoes in Anagni cathedral, another megalithic walls (Alatri), Renaissance palace (Trisoli), Cicero's birth place (Arpino).

It does not refer to the hotel, but it would be helpful to say that the parking is outside the old city area.

The breakfast was formidable! Also the regio is excellent for a holiday expedition into the montains and farther to the coast. If you like to wake up early in the morning , you can see the sun comming up, above the Abruzzen, more than 40 km far. The main entrance is situated in a narrow street, ZTLimitato. After reservation we receive the way to the free hotel-parkingplace and the entrance to the second door. A few streets from this sleepingplace have this hotel an excellent restaurant! Not every day, but on saterday evening are there more good restaurants open in the center storico. We like the panoramic views of Veroli.

The floor in room 109 (level -2) can better renovated. But the room was clean.

Beautiful location, beautiful hotel, excellent staff and good breakfast. There used to be a good restaurant at the hotel. Many of the facilites need to be updated/repaired (for ex. toilets, old runners). Breakfast was good.

Friendly staff. It was in the old town on top of the mountain, which was a unique experience. It was an old Palazzo, a beautiful place. Rooms were comfortable with stunning views of the valley. Breakfast on the terrace with great views.

If you can, book your restaurant before you arrive, as they were all booked out. However the local pizzaria made great pizza. The car park was a bit difficult to get to, though the staff gave is a helpful map to aid us. Try to arrive during day light hours.

The staff members were outstanding - all were professional and helpful. Tried to go out of their way in particular the young man on Saturday night and Sunday morning. The room was basic but very clean. We had a very quiet room as we requested but it seemed like the whole hotel was quiet. It was in the middle of the city but it was still quiet. We found free parking around the corner from the hotel. There is also a small grocery store that you can walk to. They had homemade cakes - 4 different options - sorry you can only see two from my photos. While there were no hot food options there were plenty of cold options to choose from We enjoyed two freshly made coffees Could walk to dinner There was a local pizza shop that made very good pizza next to the tourist office. Most other restaurants opened at 8pm when we were there. So we decided to have pizza as that is a little too late for us.

Cute hotel in the city center. Has good parking and accepts pets. They reached out to me before hand to explain how to get there. Don't follow Google maps.

Some parts of the hotel felt abandoned. And I had a hard time inside the property, nothing major. The place is nice.

Excellent lication in the middle of ood town, a charming old building with friendly and helpful staff. Upon arrival we received a free room upgrade, it was a pleasant surprise. Cleaning was excellent also, made daily

Nothing really, it was all good. If one wanted to be picky, the bathroom in my room could do with a modernisation - it lacked character compared to the room and the rest of the building. But still, perfectly functional!

Profesional and excellent staff, very good English. Hotel in the historical city center, inside a small but lively mediaval town.
