The lady at the desk was friendly and pleasant. Approachable and not standoffish or acted like we were a bother to her job. Easy check in . Was prepaid. Got my room request. Room is a bit small for fat people but managed. We were there to sleep not move in. Instant hot water with water pressure.

The room chair leg was broken and not attached. We fixed it otherwise you tipped in the chair. Thought the crates would better since I’m a frequent booker with bookings and a free up grade . No such luck. Bring your own body soap . What is there is crappy.

It was very clean; staff were friendly. Location was good. I didn't use it, but I noted that the pool looked clean and was full of kids enjoying it.

Our room was quite small. The breakfast room was so crowded that it was almost unusable, both to choose and heat up food, and it sit an eat it. It opened at 7:00 AM on Saturday - I think that was part of the problem. Most places open at 6:00 (or earlier if near an airport). If the hours were earlier and longer it would spread the crowd out some. Decorah is a good area for biking and hiking - many people like to get out early in the AM to do those activities, especially April - October. 7:00 is too late.

In general, the rooms were quiet, very clean and well-stocked. The tv, refrigerator and a/c worked well. The breakfast was better than many hotels in the same price range, with a good variety of fresh choices and plenty of fresh hot coffee and creamers—very important to travelers!

The size and quality of the towels were very disappointing and the sheets on one of the beds was worn and pilled. Also the hallways did not smell very fresh.

The property was very clean. The breakfast was good. The staff was all very friendly. The hotel is starting to show it’s age, but the cleanliness more than makes up for that. Both the interior and exterior are well kept, and that’s becoming rare in a lot of other hotels more than 10 years old. The hotel is close to a bike and running trail, which was beautiful in late September.

It was a great place to spend the night. The front staff was friendly and the breakfast was just right. The older lady helping with breakfast was so nice and helpful.

There wasn’t an elevator, which was ok for us but I seen an older couple of ladies that struggled with their suitcases.

Friendly and knowledgeable Staff, very clean property. Very nice breakfast with courteous staff. Excellent location near our destination. Would recommend this to other family members and friends.

Nothing, keep doing what you are presently doing and people will come and stay at this hotel.

The location was nice. Close to where we were having our reunion. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at motels. The older lady in that area was awesome. Hard worker and very friendly.

Would have been nice to have the room refreshed for the next day. At least replace the towels.

Continental breakfast was exceptional. We appreciated pet friendly accommodations. Location was ideal. Staff was friendly.

Shower in our room wasn’t great. But that’s it.

No housekeeping during stay...While they were upfront about this, I think at least they could empty the waste baskets....

Everything was great. Comfortable bed, good sized, clean room, good value for the money, location, except....

We had a second floor room and there was no elevator. Not a terrible hardship for us, but consider your personal situation.
