The staff were excellent and extremely friendly and nice. Our meals were excellent and ample, and again very good and very friendly service

The hotel has recently been taken over, the carpets need renewing, some hallways require painting and all doors leading to the lower rooms require a good painting and weather stripping. The room which we were given had an air conditioner in the window, during a rain storm water came through the gaps around the air conditioner and onto the inner window seal, we used towels to mop up. I realize the property has been neglected and it will take time to bring everything up to par Overall a nice stay and would recommend

The staff was very helpful and approachable. Pool was an attraction for the little kids, breakfast was big and good. Location is good - near the Assiniboia spillway, a good destination for a little hike with kids in the fall foliage.

The water in the whirlpool in the pool area was not clean (while the pool and the hot-tub were good). There was only one chair in each room with two double beds.

I had no idea what a lovely structure this was, such an iconic building, a grand ballroom, dining room, bar -a place that had had a tennis/basketball court, worthy of a reno to make it the gem it was....The staff was wonderful, the meal I had there was wonderful, so different from an experience I had in another place not long ago. Would go there again in a moment.

Not much I didn't like....best of luck to the owners....would love to stay there again, would love to see them realize the potential of this place....what a venue for a wedding or other major event. One of the evening we were there, a family celebration was held and I was not able to think of a place so perfect for it. While all that happened, we were comfortable in our room, a home away from home.

Great location. The on-site restaurant was amazing. Delicious food, very generous portions, unbeatable prices and amazing service. Hard-working and kind staff. Also, breakfast was tasty. Fresh, hot and plentiful of food.

It was quiet, lovely clean pool and hot tub. The owners were friendly. The restaurant food was wonderful! The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. Continental breakfast was complete.

We had read several poor reviews which had almost put us off this hidden gem.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a poolside room which was very convenient. Room was CLEAN.

Facilities are dated and could use some upgrades.

Good location, decent price, free breakfast, pool, comfy beds, nice bathroom and staff was very helpful, came late after the restaurant closed and they warmed up some food for my family and it was delicious

Was very hot, got a room with no window and with interior balcony open to the pool room so very humid

The breakfast was lacking. No plates for toast. Jam was so old and hard. No restaurants within walking distance. Hotel very rural
