On the first day the greeting from the staff was wonderful, they were great right through the stay, very warm and everyone had a sincere smile on there faces. The food was good until dinner, then were seeing the same things and some of the meats were just hard to chew, very rubbery. We got an upgrade to our room cause we were celebrating our 19th anniversary, we choose there because that's were we honeymoon. Thank you RIU for a wonderful time see you next year.

The room wasn't quite clean but we over looked that, at one point we didn't get any wash rags, we called and the front desk staff and they said that they could let housekeeping know when they started work but it never came. There was a live roach crawling on the bed ,good thing I am not afraid of them.

The property was gorgeous! It was clean and well maintained. The staff worked so hard to make sure that you had everything you needed at all times. The nightly entertainment was the best. I loved the shows and dance parties. It was fun for all ages. Prior to booking this trip, I read all the poor reviews about the food and was a little hesitant to book. I am so glad that I ignored those reviews because I thought the food was delicious.The buffets had endless choices and I had a hard time deciding on what to eat because it was all so good. Be sure to make dinner reservations to the Steak House and Kulinarium restaurants upon arrival. The bbq chicken by the pool was also a favorite. Overall, my sister and I loved every minute of our 8 night stay. I wish that I was still there.

If I had to choose something, the bed was a little hard but I got used to it.

Everything was amazing . Most of the staff was welcoming ‼️ hats off to Ashaney , Daniel & Nitini for making our stay a time to remember. They deserve the upmost respect 💯 we felt sooo much comfort being around them they made sure we had a great time they looked out for our safety & they made sure we was well taken cared of . Those are the people that made the Riu experience what it was for us .

The food was great but it was mostly cold for everything we went down to eat even if we tried going early

The cleanliness, the staff and the amazing entertainment.

The food. Some of the a la carte restaurants were ok. The buffet was such a disappointment. No thought was put into presentation, they just dumped things in plates and bowls. Messy.

My favourite part was the room. The beds were so comfy and the room itself was very clean. The shower was so nice I didn’t want to get out 😅. The view was immaculate. The staff was usually very pleasant and helpful.

The food was mid. Nevertheless there were a lot of options at meal times. The jerk chicken from Pepe’s was the best thing I had and it was the only thing that was piping hot. I wanted to try the Steakhouse but the reservations were full.

Loved the different restaurants and food choices, the nightly entertainments, the pools were awesome, and having a gym while on vacation is also very convenient. The staff was also excellent and admired Latifa at reception she was awesome, and her hospitality showed she loves her job.

The factor that it was just one elevator working whilst the hotel was full to its capacity .

The food, including the optional restaurants was only fair. Breakfast buffet was the same everyday and the omelet station wait was too long.

It’s stunningly beautiful, like living in a postcard. Lots of variety and options for food. Entertainment was top notch..especially the nightly shows.

The buffet in the main area is open so flies are free to pitch on the food…better coverage would be more hygienic. I saw guests using their fingers to scrape cheese from a knife meant for community use and another touch bread w his bare (could be germ ridden) hands..closer watch in these areas would be great to maintain healthy food hygiene. As a pescatarian, it would have been great to have fish as am option from the jerk pit.

Relaxed vibe with all facilities within close proximity and easy access to each other. Lovely beach. Not overcrowded. Helpful and friendly staff. Spacious bedroom. The entertainments team and housekeeping staff were awesome.

Mini bar in room only offers water, coke, fizzy orange and beer. No sprite, ginger ale or alternatives to Coke and no juices. Limited food offering in the last hour of service, eg I went to the jerk chicken hut 40 minutes before it closed and they had already run out of chicken and the buffet hall had very little left when I went at 9pm even though it doesn’t close until 10pm.

I loved the breathtaking views, the beach, the staff that we've met. The food from the buffet was good.

I didn't like that there was no ATM on the premises and that we had to go next door to use the ATM. I also didn't like the way the ice cream is open in the freezer, and there's no dispenser, so everyone, including kids, has to use the same scoop to get the ice cream. That is very unsanitary. I didn't like that there were times we couldn't get anything to eat during the day, because the food in the Sport Bar is not for everyone and that's also unsanitary, because it was a mess. Lastly, the Jerk Center started to not let the chicken soak on the grill, so the chicken hasn't been good either time I went there. Otherwise, everything else was good.
