Good location, good facility
Breakfast has a very less option, onsen for female has limited entry due to corona, parking on-site cost 500y extra.

The staff were quietly polite and warmly welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful, offering both Japanese and Western styles. The location is ideal for those arriving by train to JR Fukuya station - the AB Hotel is visible from the station building exit.
This isn't a "didn't like": rather, the "public bath" is rather small and basic.

proximity to the railway station
the room we stayed, which was 101, seemed to be equipped for the aged, had a strong smell that made our stay quite uncomfortable. we knew that rooms were in high demand, but we'd have been informed of the situation so that we'd another choice, or the room should be cleaned up thoroughly to remove the smell.

The hotel is near the station/decent restaurants. The Front desk personnel are nice.
Breakfast included were good but they served the same thing over and over. We can tell the foods are from the box-means not made by hands. The rooms are tiny, carpets need deep cleaning! We can smells the smokes around the floors. Mind-blowing that Japanese hotel you can smoke in the room. That is fire-hazard! Not good.
