The hotel is very nice; it seems to be one of the largest in Miyako and is quite central and close to the train station. Not everyone among the staff speaks English but they are very patient and there's always a way to communicate via translation apps etc.

A prefect location. Breakfast was very rich. Keeping your luggage kindly.

The carpet in the room had stains. Noise (bearable) from other rooms and the corridor at night.

Good location, only about a 5 min. walk from the train station and bus depot. Very good breakfast. Huge and excellent manga library on the 2nd floor. A top sheet on the bed as well as a comforter, which makes it easier to control the temperature. An open stairway you can use, in addition to a very small elevator.

Noisy. The doors seem to be designed to make as much noise as possible, and the walls are very thin. Be sure you have earplugs or a white noise app and earbuds. Only one pillow (I like sleeping with two). No writing pad or pen. No light switches by the bed.

It was a 6 mins walk from the Station to the Hotel (recommend using Google Maps); and I had a reasonable sized room, clean bathroom and toilet, with an additional sink, mirrored unit in the main area, so a bonus; and a comfortable and quiet overnight stay. :D

Staff could have been more welcoming and signage of hotel in English eg - Hotel Miyako Hills, was not visible , only Japanese signage was on the outside of the Hotel. The breakfast (basic, and Japanese style) did not match what the promotional photos showed, but it was OK.

The hotel was very quiet. Overall, it's an old business hotel and the corridors smell a bit funky, but the rooms are comfortable and clean. The sentou is large and very well maintained. There is a small sauna cubicle you can use in the bath area too.

The staff didn't really talk to me or explain anything. Just handed me keys and pointed out the elevator.
