Clean room. Great breakfast buffet. Front desk staff was professional but not very friendly. Buffet staff were more friendly.

My friend and I wanted to go to an accessory making workshop. We don’t speak or write Japanese so had difficulty making a reservation. They gave us the QR code to set up the reservation but everything was in Japanese. We had to ask the front desk staff to set up our reservation for us. I was surprised we had to ask for help. The staff did not offer to help us knowing we were having difficulties. Didn’t help until we asked.

The hotel is not near the main road, so it offers privacy and a tranquil environment. The Onsen was one of the better ones. Rooms are spacious and feature a lovely balcony to sit in and enjoy the nice view. There are 4 washing machines and dryers located on the 5th floor plus several vending machines here and there. The bathroom is clean and not cramped at all.

The Hotel probably need a little upkeep in the room as there is dust around. We had to set the futon beds, and that's when the dust started flying all around. There aren't enough electrical points in the room. The Wi-Fi speed was alright but not the fastest.

It has a shuttle service @Nasushiobara station to the hotel. During my check out, I forgot my my bag at the hotel and the bus went back to the hotel for me to pick it up. They have a great Japanese breakfast. For dinner, I would advice you to reserve earlier.

Tattoo is not allowed at the spa.

Location is a little far (15 minutes from the nearest bus stop) if you walk but the hotel does offer pickup from Seven Eleven near the bus stop, which is great. They picked me up at night and also dropped me off after I checked out. I like their hot spring too. Not many people when I visited so I almost had the hot spring all to myself. They switch the male and female hot spring every other day so you can try both during your stay. I would definitely stay there again when I go hiking in that area during the season.

The breakfast was a good selection - I’m vegetarian and there were plenty of tasty options to choose from.

The chargers were smartphones weren’t in a super convenient location in the room. That’s it though.

Insufficient heat for the villa in winter. If you come with dogs, please make sure to book the room/ villa for dog.

we was a big family group with kids the kids were noisy and the staff came to tell us to be quiet even was only 7pm the restaurant staff was really slowly

The onsen is quite good and really medicinal.

I wish they could provide at least a toothpaste if not toothbrush etc.

The futons will not be laid out for you. Having to set them up every night is a little tiring.
