The Onsen was a nice surprise and really enjoyed soaking in it. Breakfast was good with quite a variety of foods. Pjs are provided and you can wear them to breakfast if you want to.

Just a note for others - Distance from train station was about 2km - no taxis at train station when I arrived in the evening so I had to walk. I couldn’t download the app to order a taxi as I don’t have a Japanese phone number. No late night trains to Noshiro from Akita.

Everything was perfect! For people without car, hotel is still in walkable distance from Higashi-Noshiro (~35min) or Noshiro (~25min) railway station.

As usual with Route Inn, super reliable high standards across the board, excellent breakfast, very smiley and helpful staff, great value.

Beds we're a little hard, though that's not unusual in Japan. A little more fruit at breakfast would be an improvement.
